Ripple proposes a collaborative place-based approach to climate resilient green space in towns. The team worked with a community in Ballina (Ireland) that had faced socio-economic challenges to see if a model of respectful support, listening and engagement could generate a positive ripple-effect. Together they created the Paradise Garden, a haven for humans and wildlife where rainwater is slowed through a series of rills, wells and natural attenuation on its way to the adjacent river.

“Placemaking for Physical Activity Kit” represents the joint energy of mixing the expertise of grassroots sport and placemaking sectors and developing a new concept of promoting physical activity and sport in urban settings with the Placemaking for Active Recreation approach and tools. The ultimate goal of the approach is to support and improve the capacities of both sectors and the result to be in improved programs and places facilitating physical activity in the urbanized areas.

AUDARA is a web-based app that processes around 300 accessibility parameters to deliver comprehensive accessibility audit reports for Romanian museums.

Based upon accessibility regulations in force in Romania and inputs from accessibility and accessible tourism experts of accessible tourism tour operator Accessible Romania by Sano Touring, AUDARA contributes to ensuring adequate access and participation of persons with disabilities in cultural activities provided by Romanian museums.

The park in Czyżyny was created thanks to the huge involvement of residents as part of the Civic Budget. It was built on the site of the former MPK depot and a fragment of the taxiway for airplanes. Originally, almost the entire area of ​​the park was covered with asphalt and concrete. A three-hectare park was created, which has become a place where residents spend their time outdoors in an interesting way. There are playgrounds, wall-holle, parkour, gym, benches, deckchairs, public toilet.

The kindergarten built in Kočevje on brownfield land regenerates part of town by condensing programme previously dispersed in unfit buildings. The availability of preschool education has greatly increased for the local community including Roma children. The involvement of end users in the process resulted in a building that emphasizes inclusion, community, and the right to a humane learning environment. Built entirely from wood and wood-based construction materials it achieves passive standard.

Gleispark Frintrop, a former railway site, is situated on the border of the cities of Essen and Oberhausen at a central location in Green Corridor B between the Ripshorst woodland garden and the Läppkes Mühlenbach stream. The 30-hectare site was developed for the public as an extensive landscape park. The focus in designing the park area was on sustainably securing and further developing the high ecological and aesthetic qualities of this ruderal site.

Plaza de España used to be a roundabout in one of the busiest areas of the city, with high traffic, noise, pollution, and accessibility barriers. We transformed this space to return it to the public. In addition to a connection node for sustainable mobility, it also become a meeting place and a venue for cultural events, especially promoting our cultural heritage. It was conceived to be a natural, attractive and multi-purpose space, open to the changing needs of the citizens.

Apihouse is a multifunctional building, which is used for Apitherapy - therapy with bee products. The building must always include bee hives, which are placed in such a way that it is possible to sit and lie on them, without possible danger to the client. It is an insulated wooden building with complete sanitary facilities, an infrared sauna, in which honey and propolis inhalation takes place, a bed for one person placed above 5 hives (here apitherapy place by lying on the hives).
