The diploma thesis deals with current developments and trends in train station architecture. The work focuses on abandoned railway stations and their potential adaptation and development. The research of abandoned train stations was done on the borders of the Polish-Slovak Euroregion.
The main design intention was to create tourist and social spaces in order to promote the region, enrich the tourist infrastructure and generally improve the living conditions of local residents. The basic assumption was to design small, structures with specific functions assigned to them, which could be selected in a given place in accordance with the local needs and the characteristics of the landscape. Chosen structures could be then arranged in unique and useful public space composititions.

We will produce our products in a closed loop recycling process and by that minimize the waist problem that the fashion industry has caused. Others waste will become a brand new piece for someone in need. We partner with textile sorters and homeless shelters to create a bridge between treating yourself and giving back to those in need at the same time and focus on creating awareness.
This project focuses on the preservation of pre-existing hydraulic structures in the Minho region, currently in disuse or abandoned - circumstances that increase the risk of losing of this heritage. In the face of this, we propose a renewal of the sense of use of these hydraulic structures and associated spaces, thus investing in improving the quality of public spaces, valuing the local culture and the history of such places.
HygroShape is a first of its kind concept for self-shaping furniture. Using purely the natural, intrinsic properties of wood, furniture pieces are produced in an efficient and compact flat state, materially programmed to shape themselves when unpacked. It happens effortlessly, in silence, without human interaction, tools, or assembly instructions. The project uses material programming to harness the unique potentials of sustainable materials and practices.
Exploring the protected landscape of Lonjsko polje, one of Europe’s largest wetlands, is planned through a network of entry-points and observatories placed within it. The visitor centre samples rural morphologies, creating a new social focus within the village. The observatories connote centuries of anthropogenic and natural symbioses, of a border condition, in a bestiarium of markers and vistas. They become a ludic element of the landscape, a new species echoing the locally familiar.

- A real solution for decarbonisation and achieving the 15-minute city.

The vast majority of bike sharing users do not wear helmets when riding on the roads. This creates a potential risk in case of accidents. People do not wear helmets because they are too heavy and take up too much space in the backpack for a short trip.
The air helmet, made from recycled material wastes, solves the problem of portability during the rest of the day. So the user can go lighter, but safer.
The Austrian city of Linz is very unique in terms of industrial output and energy demand.Without it's industrial sector, the city of ~220.000 inhabitants needs ~4 TWh of energy/year.
Adding the local industry the energy demand rises to ~40 TWh/year or more than 10% of austrias overall consumption.
With our project "Local Energy City & Industry" we want to raise global awareness to such challenges.
