Ponto d'Orvalho is a regenerative space, of creation and renewal. A field to explore the dynamic transformations of the environment and their impact on our collective future and social structures. With a focus on research and experimentation, Ponto d'Orvalho is a transdisciplinary festival open to discussion and environmental action through artistic, social and ecological interventions.

The third edition of Ponto d'Orvalho will take place in September 2022.

With increasingly frequent phenomena of torrential rains, the soil's waterproofing and artificialization of the water’s course in the cities have complexified and overloaded the draining infrastructures. A transition from unitary to separative sewage system allows for the use of rainwater in ludic and productive paths where the water is held upstream and slowly distributed for the irrigation of gardens in the cities. The water cycle designs public space and reduces pressure on infrastructure.

Recreate communities and reinvent geographies of association by providing affordable housing supply and high quality living conditions in european cities, such as Rome, illustrates the purpose of this collective living project. Combining green and circular activities, in order to mobilize local socioecological knowledge, with adaptation of eco-friendly and inclusive design solutions, aims to introduce a new urban model of shared and co-creative  living, which implies long-term resilience.

OikoTV is an online TV channel aimed at informing, through short documentaries, about social and sustainable projects and ideas around Europe, with the final purpose of raising people's awareness about environmental and social issues and stimulate people to embark on similar paths.

Mattersite is an AI-based digital support system that assists and unlocks deconstruction building’s data potential by creating more accurate and faster material reports to upcycle waste.

The most important aspect in designing quality, age-friendly spaces is not only designing good quality housing but also quality spaces. People of age lose their physical and mental strength; some need permanent help for everyday activities. Therefore, availability, affordability, accessibility of all services around can impact our ability to use, access, and interact particularly in older age. So we provide living spaces where you could adjust according to your needs and share it with others.

Quesar de Cáceres proposes a new type of urban production implementing an alternative model of territory and community based on the concept of the Cooperative, where economic producers from the same industry join their resources for the benefit of their community growth. The model shares an infrastructure that serves as a bridge to grow capital and reinvestment for the repositioning of their industries, community, and territory to address issues of the future in the era of the Anthropocene.

The concept focuses on the transformation of the industrial zone. Although these areas are part of every city, they are often unaesthetic places without added value. The concept shows how, by applying vegetation structures, the zone can be transformed into sustainable and aesthetic places. The inclusion of the university, professional, and general public in the concept will guarantee the expansion and deepening of knowledge about the issue to create resilient cities of present and future.

Organise the disposal process of Second Hand clothes through an app linked to "Green Boxes": 
- choose the clothes you don't use,
- describe them briefly (form),
- prepare the packages,
- leave them in the "green box" for collection,  
- earn points and receive discount vouchers by donating clothes, taking Second Hand quizzes, keeping track of the "life" of your wardrobe (consumer awareness). Collected clothes are given to Second Hand shops which participate to the programme.

The socially and climatically appropriate further development of the existing neighborhood of Gartenstadt Süd in Bremen (Germany) is at the center of the consideration. Particularly with regard to the idea of the New European Bauhaus, the existing buildings are sensitively transformed into a sustainable, community-promoting and ecologically sustainable quarter with the help of precise and measured interventions.
