PhiTOilet is ecological, beautiful and accessible-to-all:

based on phytodepuration, it's autonomous from sewer;

it's flexible, it adapts its aspect using on site materials to perfectly integrates with various surrounding landscapes;

it's inclusive and accessible-to-all due to Universal Design principles, removes obstacles which, even today, negatively affect the daily life of millions of EU citizens with disability

it's modular and economical both in implementation and management.

This is a model and a method of interdisciplinary education in the higher education that integrates the values of sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics in the content of the curricula and the learning process in art and design. The challenge was the sustainability and inclusiveness of fashion culture and its implementations comprehensively for branding in clothing, interior design and architecture, empowering urban communities and solving local challenges in the society simultaneously.

The pilot project “New office building” is located in Essen, Germany, directly on the UNESCO world heritage site of “Zeche Zollverein”, a former coal mine industrial complex.
The project is intended to be a pilot for renewable design with a special focus on the Cradle to Cradle design principles focusing on transformable and recyclable design, healthy
materials and the use of a “Material Passports”. The multipurpose roof landscape compensates for the ground area occupied by the development.
 

The Riverview project comprises 7 top-class residential buildings with retail units erected on the site of a former meat plant. The dual nature of historic Gdańsk – bourgeois eclecticism and Hanseatic architecture – has been reflected in the detailed façades, brick walls and sloping roofs. It has a very special location, hence it reflects the two faces of the city: the first - Protestant in spirit, the second eclectic, baroque. Riverview stands out with its landscape design and sustainability.

Elektrownia Powiśle is a historic complex converted to the retail, cultural, service, office, hotel and residential purposes. Premises of the former power plant were revitalized and transformed without losing their original character, with newly erected buildings and urban squares accessible to all fitting perfectly into the historic industrial landscape.

The Wagenhallen Stuttgart - a former locomotive shed from the 19^thcentury - is characterised by various construction periods, conversions and war destruction. The four adjacent pitched roof halls have developed into a cultural focal point in Stuttgart even before their renovation and have since housed artist’s studios, an event area and a tango school. The former locomotive shed can be experienced again in its original design and function as a dynamic and lively building.

This workshop was a practice based, textile art and design-led experience, which develops creative visions and redefines textile practice. The central aspects of this workshop were the strong focus on non-traditional textiles methods, investigating alternative surface treatments, new forms conception, hybrid materials approach and the most important bioplastics experimentation. Behind this project is the group of 13 students of École supérieure d’art et de design TALM-Angers and three educators.

Reënstok is a building facade water tank for storing roof rainwater.

Rainwater can be distributed either directly to the street to water the vegetation or to each floor to supply the toilets, the washing machine and water the vegetation on the balconies.

The new Teleclub is the only meeting place in Noviercas, a 150 inhabitants remote rural village in Soria (Spain). Everything happens here. It hosts everyday social life, public events and even becomes an extension of the domestic. A flexible social condenser that by means of the thermal buffer adapts to the changing programme and the rigorous climate.
