Through Shared Fictions, the old Tobacco Factory of Alicante became a meeting place for neighbours, ecologies and cultural policies. A summer programme embedded in its immediate territory, transcending the physical limits of the cultural centre but also of what we understand as a city. This programme combined habitat with encounter; learning with enjoyment and hedonism with commitment in order to achieve an intergenerational, interspecies and expanded activation throughout the Alicante region.

Concurrently with the territorial strategy study OIN Seine Aval (Downstream Seine, Operation of National Interest), Agence Ter designed the transformation of a floodable site consisting of former sand quarries into an ecological park and environmentally sensitive area within the confines of a meander of the Seine.

Faced with potential flooding of the river, the park can absorb the water while protecting nature, thanks to the restoration of 113 hectares of the environment to accommodate ecotone

Clonakilty 400 is a place and people-focused design plan which enhances the cultural heritage through participatory design process. The aim of this project was to re-establish a sensitive, contemporary public realm in an architectural conservation area of the small market town of Clonakilty as a successful template for other Irish towns. It is a successful example of an ‘architect in the community’ approach. This approach has built a strong sense of collective urbanism and civic pride.

"Do places transform pedagogy... or does pedagogy transform places?" The exhibition Travaux d'école presents some twenty French and international projects in the school environment, involving users in the renovation projects of their schools. The exhibition - which shows models, drawings, prototypes, fragments of realizations and testimonies - is composed of four main parts, one of which is dedicated to the words of the users.

“Stories from both sides” aimed to build-up a collective narrative and vision for the Neiva River mouth, in the Northern littoral coast of Portugal, for the redesign of the local population interaction with the natural surrounding protected areas.

The bottom-line was to promote an awareness increase on the fragile ecosystems on each side of the river, towards their valorization and protection.

LEAD Creative is a community of creative leaders from all over the world. It takes place in Pamplona, Spain, and it has one yearly main event in the Museum of the University of Navarra. There are three days filled with workshops, conferences, concerts, and other networking activities. We have the presence of professionals specialized in different disciplines who inspire and have direct contact with young people of diverse backgrounds.

Le Serre dei Giardini is the story of a social, environmental and cultural regeneration process in which a previously abandoned public space has been transformed into a place which is a “nursery” of ideas where desirable, sustainable and inclusive futures are made possible through tangible projects. 7 days a week people can immerse themselves in the contamination between art and nature, eat sustainable food, learn and grow up as part of a community reconnecting with the natural world.

The building is located in a new ensanche in the Southwest of Madrid, close to the M-40 ringroad. Despite its urban character, the building is located close to big city voids which constitute urban heat sinks. In addition, it is located on a south-looking slope which grants a very good solar orientation.

These two questions articulate the formal and material strategy of the building, constructing passively tempered interiors that generate pleasant, intense and healthy spaces.
