Description of the project
Summary
LEAD Creative is a community of creative leaders from all over the world. It takes place in Pamplona, Spain, and it has one yearly main event in the Museum of the University of Navarra. There are three days filled with workshops, conferences, concerts, and other networking activities. We have the presence of professionals specialized in different disciplines who inspire and have direct contact with young people. The project has grown to other international Universities (USA, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Kenya, Nigeria, Italy, Philippines) that allow the interaction of young people of different nationalities and parts of the world.
LEAD creates a space for dissertation around creativity as construction of knowledge and a means of social transformation. By identifying social needs and problems, associating ideas of a different nature, working together with young people from different cultures, and delving into sources of inspiration and development, we aim to impact the world positively.
Today, conventional education has pushed young people into a situation of disinterest, lack of commitment, and absence of a determining role in society. LEAD Creative was born to turn this approach around. Young people have a lot to say, and there were no initiatives that promoted youth leadership linked with creativity. Their role is far from irrelevant, but young people lack the motivation, confidence, and support to undertake the challenges and opportunities this society presents with responsibility and commitment. Open-mindedness, knowledge of new challenges, social integration, international networking, professional help, and greater awareness and commitment to a better society through sustainability and beauty are essential topics that schools, universities, and mainstream education settings do not include. And yet they are the most necessary. LEAD creates a community of young people aimed at renewing, with creativity, what their mission is within society.
Key objectives for sustainability
Sustainability and environmental responsibility are main characteristics of the project. LEAD Creative takes place in person at the University of Navarra, a set of 113 hectares of land that makes it the largest park in the city. Recently awarded the Green Flag Award for its environmental management, it ranks it as the 146th university globally with the best green campus and sustainability policy. Within LEAD Creative's contribution to solving society's challenges, sustainable development and care for people and the environment are among our priorities. LEAD creative joins the university's 2025 Strategy, pursuing sustainability and environmental development as one of the main issues to address. Carrying out various activities in this green environment invites face-to-face participants to become aware of the sustainable environment in which they must find their mission. We take care of the materials of the kits and other materials used in the activities according to the Museum of the University of Navarra and the University of Navarra's sustainable strategy. LEAD Creative joins this challenge, providing ideas, research, a transformative education, and an interdisciplinary environment. in a completely sustainable environment.
We consider sustainability in economic, social, and environmental terms. Our commitment to leadership and creativity generates new forms of development and new ways of integrating the concerns of young people in the development of a shared future, which considers the sustainability of the planet.
Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
At LEAD Creative, we seek the aesthetics to be fulfilled integrally in our objectives because we know that LEAD's function does not make sense if beauty is lacking. We want to stimulate creative participation in young people, particularly in their projects' aesthetics, and the generation of a vocation for entrepreneurship and creative leadership in young people, within the framework of transforming and improving society.
We work with students from the Design and Architecture courses of the University of Navarra and with professionals of these areas. LEAD ends up being the meeting point for many people and many ways of thinking. This is where the true value of our project lies. The possibility of listening and learning from people from different areas and experiences brings a new perspective to the life of the participants.
In addition to this, the experience that we give to the participants virtually, invites them to appreciate the architecture of the Museum of the University of Navarra by the Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, and the sustainable green Campus of the University of Navarra. These aspects help bring aesthetics to the participant experience to life. It unifies the identity of LEAD Creative and encourages people not to lose sight of the aesthetic principle in their lives.
Key objectives for inclusion
Inclusion and diversity are vital objectives and guiding principles in everything we do at LEAD Creative. This project was born to respond to a need for dialogue between young people from different backgrounds and careers. The need to bring the previously established objectives to all young people requires total inclusion. Without any selection or criteria, the commitment and willingness of young people to participate and be part of the community is the only thing that is required. The diversity was achieved with the support of the University of Navarra (the university of Spain with the greatest internationality of students) and the agreements with international universities from all over the world (USA, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Kenya, Nigeria, Italy, Philippines) allow for more possibilities of creativity, knowledge, and of reaching young people from different countries. Having a group of young people from different backgrounds and different ways of thinking has a huge multiplier effect on learning.
Virtual cooperation, virtual mobility, and mixed mobility are fundamental parts of the project. The project, from its inception, provided participants with the benefit of being able to attend both in-person and virtually on our immersive online platform. We recreated virtually in 3D the Museum of the University of Navarra, where participants experienced the event online from anywhere in the world. We put much effort into making the experience quite enriching regardless of where you lived. The platform and the youth community that LEAD Creative presents are the ideal means to find cooperation and youth mobility in different parts of the world.
Results in relation to category
Concerned about the problems surrounding us, young people and professionals come together to generate change from any professional field and part of the world. We, young people, have the challenge of making our own and committing ourselves to the challenges of our society. Professionals and older generations present their experience of how they tackled the problems of their times and what new challenges have arisen, so that young people can take over from them. In this way, citizens of different generations and from anywhere in the world come together to face problems, translate them into opportunities, and work as a team to provide the most creative solution possible. Interdisciplinarity, inclusion, and diversity are necessary to transform our society.
In each edition, we set a different topic to tackle. In this way, we give free rein to continuity, perseverance, renewal, and innovation, demonstrating that changing the world is a vital mission that we have to make our own, to transmit it to future generations. The design and implementation of the project allow LEAD Creative to provide solutions to the problems that society encounters every year. This allows us to adapt to new needs, aspirations, international objectives, and challenges that remain to resolve.
Our internationality, availability, and access to any corner of the world allow for more significant growth and the possibility of expansion. Globalization allows everyone to connect. LEAD Creative allows that connectivity to direct towards proposing team solutions to our problems in common. This solution enables identity and a sense of belonging to a world that unites society and wildly diverse cultures instead of separating and making it more defying to take on this challenge.
How Citizens benefit
Concerning the category of "sense of belonging" to which we apply, we can find enormous benefits:
1. LEAD Creative forms a community of creative leaders committed to the future of our society. This community, made up of students and professionals from different cultures, countries, and professional fields, allows us to propose different "transdisciplinarity approaches" to face the challenges of our society. As for diversity, our contact and collaboration with universities worldwide will enable the construction of an identity committed to improving our generation.
2. Being advised by many universities whose goal focuses on training students to know the truth, LEAD Creative encourages responsibility to face today's challenges and problems. Leaving society better than how we received it is our primary objective. Commitment to engage with the future and a sense of belonging emerges from this vocation of service to society. Facing and offering with initiative and creativity new solutions that allow solving "challenges" that concern and concern all humanity.
3. The inclusion and diversity that characterize our project allow us to open our arms to realities, problems, and situations from anywhere in the world. LEAD Creative enables a community of creative leaders to connect with young people and professionals from anywhere globally, creating a networking network and reconstructing our identity and sense of belonging.

Innovative character
LEAD is the only event in Spain created by young people promoting creative leadership and an international vocation. It unites people worldwide to learn and discuss current issues concerning sustainability, beauty, and inclusion. LEAD Creative addresses diversity and inclusion because it aims at people from different contexts and careers.
At LEAD Creative, the results we seek intend to last over time, forming part of young people's personal and professional evolution and development. The promotion of creativity and leadership, deepening the vocation of selfless service to society, social development of young people, networking, increased ability to work as a team, promotion of responsibility and identity of young people and their mission are a result of what we do.
All these objectives and results are ensured by collaborating with teaching staff and specialized professionals for their correct achievement. These will use attractive and innovative teaching methods such as practical conferences, real cases, workshops, dynamic round tables, and other unconventional activities.
The presence and support at all times of the University of Navarra, the Museum, and Campus Creativo will ensure the quality standards of the project and the achievement of results. Weekly meetings with each area, counseling sessions with teachers, and support from different international universities will allow us to create a broad perspective when working as a team, making decisions, and opening new fronts.
Learning transferred to other parties
LEAD Creative has had a significant impact in Spain. It also includes all the people in the world because it is open to living the experience remotely through the immersive online platform with the Museum of the University of Navarra modeled in 3D. Thanks to our ability to reach other countries, LEAD can open up to international universities and expand the number of people to whom the message can go. In the second edition, international universities such as the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico, the Universidad de Piura in Peru, and the University of Asia and the Pacific in the Philippines joined the project as collaborating universities. They promote the event in their universities, contribute with a conference or a practical workshop and help in the previous organization of the event. This work methodology, in which diversity and creativity take the lead, reaches many more people and can grow a lot over the years.
