Placemaking kit is a tool for making temporary urban interventions. It is based on concrete corner blocks that allow creating different functions and layouts with ease.
The elements are interchangeable, making them easy to move and creating new scenarios elsewhere.
Aim of the design was to create a kit that helps participatory design and assembly while still being sturdy and lasting. RÉV 8 Zrt. helped to build a prototype in the 8th district, where viability and co-designability were tested.

The Barbieland project is an integration of architectural craft into social network trends. Because we live in times when social networks, trends and advertising rule the world and shape modern values.

This project addresses the problem of food waste. It includes 3 products: SqueezeBin which collects waste, NutriCycle which transforms it into compost and Vegtable which uses compost to grow vegetables. The community actively participates, growing plants and obtaining benefits. The result is a reduction in food waste, the production of high-quality compost and the promotion of local and ecological food production.

In April 2022, when Russian troops retreated, Yakusha architect studio united 100 experts to recover Chernihiv, a 1300-year old city near Belarus border. The project aims to preserve historical and natural heritage and use reconstruction as a window of opportunity to re-develop. Concept is based on a bottom up approach, covering all aspects of city life, crucially engaging with a local population to devise a blueprint which integrated cutting edge sustainability principles, saving authenticity.

Schelde Ensemble is a design research that empowers human and non-human voices of the Dutch Southwest delta region. The project manifests itself in different outcomes: ranging from a permanent installation in a museum to a “landscape makers congress” for (local) civil servants, scientists, (landscape) designers and citizens. Schelde Ensemble challenges participants to listen, represent and negotiate their collective future in relation to the climate challenges of the region.

“Remember the Future” transports young people to 2074—through the eyes of a visionary climate activist. Merging AI visuals with cinematic storytelling, it narrates a tale of hope, where young Europeans reshaped a climate-stable world. This film isn’t just a story—it’s a call to action and a blueprint for a sustainable future.

Indulto Á Ponte is therefore born from material responsibility, about what to do with those materials that seem to have consumed their useful life.

2,700 tons of steel as free construction material, which, thanks to its recycling, it can be given to the city of Lisbon by reintegrating the bridge into the urban fabric.

Our project got inspiration from the “re-building Ukraine” challenge, where we wanted to create a building system from locally available materials. The 1+X pattern system combines straw, centuries-old building material with a pattern system to create sustainable structures with a smaller environmental footprint. The modular system can be industrially produced and allows architectural freedom. The 1+X system bridges history and innovation, forging an eco-conscious architectural future.

Moving around an unfamiliar place can be challenging for anyone, but imagine doing it without the sense responsible for 80% of the information we perceive: sight. For visually impaired people, carrying out daily activities implies a great difficulty due to the accessibility barriers they encounter to orient themselves in places where GPS is no longer functional. ThisWay is an indoor navigation app intended to promote the autonomy and social inclusion of visually impaired people.
