In today's ever-changing world, urbanization, social fragmentation and climate change require our collective attention and action. Our mission is to unite minds and voices for positive change. POLImini offers services and experiences, driving social innovation and lifelong learning.

The phenomenon of depopulation of southern italy rural centers is reaching worrying levels.In these centers the community is mainly made up of old people.The departures in these areas of young people and especially workers causes a state of abandonment that invest people,buildings and services.Convents and monasteries were the economic and social protagonists of European society during past times.The project aims to create new economic models starting from the redevelopment of these buildings.

Piety biocenter is a hybrid model of an ecological burial ground within a european cultural landscape, it carries out a critical revision of the urban-morphological archetype of the cemetery, where the utilization of terramation technology + other green burial methods becomes the main component of the update. With the disappearance of gravestones and urns, the concept of a city of the dead, is abandoned, and a biodiverse landscape resonating with life, arises and restores the natural life cycle.

Designed in collaboration with a cabinetmaker from the Basque Country, Quatre is a wall-mounted shelf that embraces the temporality & evolution of materials. The choice of material was a local wood from the Basque eco-system, PEFC/FSC certified : ash.

Quentin from Studio Delion is an object & furniture craftsman. He usually works this wood in 4 stages: rough, planed, sanded, then oiled. 4 stages of production, for 4 evolving aspects of the material, for 4 shelves, for Quatre.

In order to achieve a mobility solution that people truly enjoy using, they themselves must be the ones designing it. So how might we include citizens in the development of urban mobility?
Mutual Mobility is a community-driven service that connects existing urban infrastructure and applies collaborative methodology in order to leverage the design process of micro vehicles as part of an open hardware network. The framework developed for the project was realised in a case study in Copenhagen.

City centers have shifted from community-focused spaces to consumption-driven hubs. This change has raised questions about their role in modern society, especially in the post-Covid era. This project explores how to reintroduce social community spaces in cities and draws inspiration from private household kitchens and their multifunctional communal use. By leveraging existing public buildings, the proposal aims to expand the city's available public spaces, fostering community and inclusivity.
