In the middle of a 1.5-million city of Kharkiv there was an uncared for but powerful spring of drinkable freshwater. Although people living close to the spring used it, most of the water flowed into the city storm drain system. The untidy look of the area scared many people away.
Our bureau developed and implemented a project of turning the ravine into a system of artificial lakes and a place for interacting with nature. We helped the Kharkiv dwellers to access water in its natural environment.

Folkets Trädgård serves as an inclusive meeting place for sustainable gardening, sharing culture, community dialogue and cultivating dreams. Our project focuses on all ages and interests. One of its main objectives is to organise cultural events to strengthen community, build trust and promote dialogue. The garden also serves as a symbolic and practical place to work on the 2030 Agenda and sustainable transition.

The mundane view outside of your car or train window hides many fascinating stories. Imagine you can invite local charismatic people to travel alongside with you: to hear their rumors, jokes, struggles, to learn about the history. To taste their contemporary and traditional music. Their stories will make you feel like you know the place, will make you feel local.

We have designed, probably, the best way to make it possible with just a few clicks. And we want to scale up this innovation.

The Camellia Park with 2.5 hectares, is located on a natural theater slope that embraces the center of the city of Braga, within an extensive area of green spaces and facilities, covering approximately 60 acre. In addition to the urban landscape, environmental, social, cultural, and educational benefits of rehabilitating this space, it has become a living laboratory for experimenting with climate change adaptation solutions in an urban setting, aligned with the Municipal Climate Adaptation.

Erected in a new eco-neighborhood connected to the heart of Andenne (Belgium), “Le Phare” is the cultural hub that mixes peoples, history, heritage and creativity of an entire district. Within this amazing architectural modern masterpiece, young and old can find a preserved art Deco swimming pool hosting a public library, a tourist office which highlights local spirit and artistic dynamics, and a museum showing the richness of the territory’s prehistoric, archeological and artistic testimonies.

Uzana Fest is a symbol of green ideas and care for nature. The festival meets green thinking and successful ecological patterns, presented in 10 zones through eco practices, activities, healthy products, art initiatives, green challenges and music. The festival brings people closer to nature and reminds them of the relation with nature by creating a sense of harmony and connectedness. All this happens in the Uzana area on a beautiful meadow, located in the geographical heart of Bulgaria.

The project Design Wings is a project of non-financial support that brings together talents, knowledge and experience to create design products and services that are competitive and based on the principles of innovation and the digital and circular economy. The project involves companies from all over Lithuania, for which design solutions are developed by emerging design professionals and supervised by experienced mentors — highly skilled design experts.

A cooperative group of architects and builders committed to a radical and convivial ecological transition. We specialize in building with raw earth and straw, the most ecological materials ever known. We aspire to change practices in the construction industry by developing projects that are the most respectful of human health and the environment, and that empower workers.

A project framed in the Pazo Quinteiro da Cruz, the family property, its philosophy sustainability, preserving the biodiversity of the environment and spreading respect for nature through environmental and cultural education based on botanical criteria, circular economy, agenda 2030 to the people who visit us throughout the year.

Thinking with bread, as the anthropologist Tim Ingold - a guest lecturer in Milan last September - encourages us to do, means being realistic. Instead of aiming for a digital post-humanism, we must aim for a post-digital humanism, because human beings derive bread from the Earth: from bread they learn to take responsibility for the Earth.
MadreProject is thus a path of regeneration toward the new time of bread, a renewed enchantment of the world.
