A group of young environmental researchers is taking over from fishermen the old fish market in Marina di Ravenna closed since the 1990s. They clear it of all nets and fill it with tanks to rescue endangered canonical marine species by-catched from artisanal fisheries. From this project was born an NGO named CESTHA, Experimental Center for Habitat Conservation, to date unique in Italy as a rescue center for all fish fauna and one of the largest sea turtle rescue centers.

Street renovation project that seeks to complete the promenade route with an attractive and accessible street that recovers the link with the historic heritage of its port and sailor housing.
Allowing pedestrian accessibility while enhancing the cultural image of the street with the goal of motivating the restoration and transformation of historic buildings; the sailor essence of the neighbourhood is recovered, inducing its economical and cultural renewal.

An innovative method of promoting a rural micro-region in Romania got its name Blue Butterfly Region. With long-term vision, this follow-up project aimed to raise awareness and strengthen the sense of belonging of the brand and the territory and also to increase brand visibility among locals and visitors. A community of local people has been connected, empowered and developed, as well as creative workshops, educational friendly materials and outdoor experiences around the butterfly symbol.

ReLabs is based on the 3 pillars: garbage, culture and citizenship. It started as a research project to review the waste management system of Madrid Municipality. The aim was to identify materials that have not end their useful life and reused them trough public open call to co-design and collectively construct playgrounds in municipal schools. The construction process is a pedagogic tool for environmental awareness and for education in participatory urban planning and place making.

We’re a biotech startup. We research, develop and produce functional 100% natural materials from fungal mycelium and waste from the agricultural and wood processing industries. We source all of our raw materials from renewable sources that are readily available locally. Our products are 100% degradable by natural processes and therefore harmless to nature (on the contrary, they serve as fertilizer). No harmful chemicals are used in their production and no additional waste is generated.
