'Germinale' is an urban regeneration project for the underserved neighbourhood Le Piagge in the outskirt of Florence. Inspired by the famous Emile Zola novel dedicated to the redemption of the poorest , the new building is a former vandalised greenhouse, self-rebuilt and transformed into a house for the arts. It is a space for the new generations who can't find a "home" in the city and a way of escaping marginality expanding the access to culture and beauty where you wouldn't expect to find.

Bar do Porto is a family run project based in the small fishing village Corrubedo in Galicia, North West Spain. In a community where bars and restaurants are an important part of the daily lives of the locals, we decided to reopen and reimagine a a neighbourhood bar that had been closed for over 25 years. Setting an example for other rural ventures, we run the bar supporting local produce and suppliers, giving job opportunities to young locals, and encouraging a mix of urban and rural clients.

Rehabilitation center for the promotion of well-being and the relationship between man and nature with social inclusion, based on occupational therapy, within which every type of disability, through a multidisciplinary team, will be placed in a position to be able to actively participate in different activities of daily life and of interest but also pet therapy, horticulture/eco-laboratories, transformation of materials and sales favoring the increase of personal autonomy.

On the mountainous Mediterranean island of Corsica, local architecture office Orma Architettura has designed three unique viewing platforms, thought as a space for watching the endangered Corsican deer. This is an animal endemic to the islands of Corsica and Sardinia that almost disappeared during the late ’60s, but which has been saved thanks to a program of breeding begun in the 1980s.

4Cs: From Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture was a European Cooperation Project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. The 4Cs aimed to understand how training and education in art and culture can constitute powerful resources to address the issue of conflict as well as to envision creative ways in which to deal with conflictual phenomena, while contributing to audience development through active participation and co-production.

Due to concerns regarding the sustainability of the surfing industry due in large part to the use of plastics, the eco-friendly boards industry has seen a rebirth over the past decade. Web Shaping Bay is a web-based, user-friendly and accessible platform developed in order for the eco-boards industry to overcome the obstacles hindering it from competing with mass-produced boards - namely high costs and performance concerns - by incorporating technology into more traditional production processes.

Greenovate project tries to revitalize and beautify the center of Kozani adding greening space through window boxes, planters and benches in main corridors of the center, on the pedestrian places across the town’s market area. The stars of the project are young students who give ideas, draw plans and play roles towards a neutral climate city by 2030. Their ideas become a reality transforming ex-industrial material into modern urban equipment performing circular economy in practice

How can we discuss inclusive cities when most streets are dedicated to men? Committing a road to one person, as opposed to another, implies celebrating all the values associated with them. Research has shown a correlation between a city’s gender bias in street names and cultural factors, like gender equality in that city. Street names are not neutral, and it is time to talk about them so that all citizens feel included and represented by the values that cities celebrate.

BICIFICATION is the EIT Urban Mobility project rewarding urban cyclists in Braga, Istanbul, and Tallinn with economic incentives. The project adopted the patented system by Pin Bike for the certification, monitoring, and gamification of urban bike rides.
