Project design connects outdoor education with Dalton in an innovative way. The accomplished project of the IX Secondary School Library exemplifies transformation of an unused space into the multifunctional, open, inviting, comfortable, however modest place of learning. In the design process, students of the School and the Academy of Fine Arts, as well as librarians and administration staff, entered into creative multidisciplinary dialogue. As a result, social capital, cultural values and sense of belonging were enforced. Moreover, the use of resources was optimized.
