Volunteering, bottom-up participation, sense of belonging to the territories and orientation towards sustinable development are the keywords of our project.
With our project, "Operation Rivers: exploring to take care" we wanted to integrate actions based on civic volunteering and experiences of citizen science through activism and the sense of care for the most important natural rivers of the region of Veneto, involved in the project: Adige, Po, Bacchiglione, Brenta, Sile, Piave and Livenza.

The innovation model allows one to get the experience of craft work. Combining the elements of tradition and modernity gives a sense of creation and influence physical reality. The main idea of this revitalization project is: less products, more experience. The experience is understood as accessible for everyone because the project is about maximum social inclusion. It’s concerns the crafts in 21st century’s economy and the development of the creative competence of the whole world’s citizens.

Cortili in azione empowers residents in the Nichelino and Sangone neighborhoods of Turin, Italy to transform the schoolyard into communal spaces through collaborative and participatory design methodologies. This allows children, parents, teachers, and residents to exchange knowledge and experiences, have fun, and strengthen the social fabric of a commuter town.

ecoBirdy is a Belgian award-winning company that created a system to transform old plastic toys into high-quality kids’ furniture. Started as a research project, it evolved into a business that saves tons of plastic waste per year, giving it a new, circular life. The addition of furniture for grown-ups and Tableware offers new solutions for multiple plastic waste streams. International museums have ecoBirdy designs in their permanent collections, as examples of circular design.

Art exhibitions in ELTE Botanical Garden (first in 21.06.11-04.12 and the second in 22.23.04-31.05) The main goal for our newly founded initiative was to make
visual arts easily accessible but also more experiental to a wider, generic audience by creating a location specific, innovative exhibition which had been put into a vegetal frame that takes the observer by surprise. This way the audience can free their minds and break away from the common exibitional spaces of art galleries and museums.

The former barber and hairdressing salon Ozbič, is the most completely preserved artisan salons in Slovenia from the period between the two world wars. Carefully restored, with original equipment and details, selected contents and exceptional respect for the past, which has been written in it for almost a century. With its unusual and unique appearance, the house on the corner enlivens the old town center of Postojna and the cultural heritage of this craft in the local area and beyond.

Spain’s Urban Analyses of Vulnerable Neighbourhoods have examined urban vulnerability in its 147 largest cities through expressly elaborated neighbourhood-scale delimitations. The open data project developed here is based on these analyses and makes them available to the public on the e-ScienceData portal. The analyses are part of the Observatory of Urban Vulnerability of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and serve as a starting point for the design of urban public policies.

Created and realized by Vesuvioteatro, "Racconti per Ricominciare" is a multi-venue eco-friendly performing arts festival that takes place in National Cultural Heritage of South of Italy. During the Festival, some of the most evocative locations in Campania are transformed into natural theaters for site-specific performances staged at sunset, in perfect symbiosis both with ancient architectures and natural landscapes.
Recognized as National Theatre Festival by Italian Ministry of Culture.

POOL IS COOL has been advocating for the reintroduction of outdoor swimming in Brussels since 2015. In 2021 they opened FLOW, the first public outdoor pool in the city in forty years, designed and built by Decoratelier Jozef Wouters. As a prototype for more permanent solutions, FLOW addresses the urgency of the lack of open-air swimming in the European capital. FLOW also fulfils a number of social ambitions, such as employing young people from Brussels who are keen to contribute to the project.
