The kindergarten built in Kočevje on brownfield land regenerates part of town by condensing programme previously dispersed in unfit buildings. The availability of preschool education has greatly increased for the local community including Roma children. The involvement of end users in the process resulted in a building that emphasizes inclusion, community, and the right to a humane learning environment. Built entirely from wood and wood-based construction materials it achieves passive standard.

Gleispark Frintrop, a former railway site, is situated on the border of the cities of Essen and Oberhausen at a central location in Green Corridor B between the Ripshorst woodland garden and the Läppkes Mühlenbach stream. The 30-hectare site was developed for the public as an extensive landscape park. The focus in designing the park area was on sustainably securing and further developing the high ecological and aesthetic qualities of this ruderal site.

Plaza de España used to be a roundabout in one of the busiest areas of the city, with high traffic, noise, pollution, and accessibility barriers. We transformed this space to return it to the public. In addition to a connection node for sustainable mobility, it also become a meeting place and a venue for cultural events, especially promoting our cultural heritage. It was conceived to be a natural, attractive and multi-purpose space, open to the changing needs of the citizens.

Apihouse is a multifunctional building, which is used for Apitherapy - therapy with bee products. The building must always include bee hives, which are placed in such a way that it is possible to sit and lie on them, without possible danger to the client. It is an insulated wooden building with complete sanitary facilities, an infrared sauna, in which honey and propolis inhalation takes place, a bed for one person placed above 5 hives (here apitherapy place by lying on the hives).

The contemporary art exhibition NOMADIC ART CIRCUS #1” and LA TENDA, LE STELLE, LA TERRA”, a shared self-construction workshop with students from fine arts academies, young artists and citizenship is an innovative cultural format, realized in a Circus tent. Nomadic, organic, inclusive, it brings to the areas far from the official circuit a new concept of making and show art in and with the territory and local communities, for the definition of scalable, repeatable and sustainable mode

In the past, intergenerational cooperation was taken for granted. It took place mainly within families, with different generations living together and knowledge being passed on from the elderly to the younger. Today, lifestyles have changed and a gap has been created. The Intergenerational Cooperation Park project fills this gap, which has been created by a different way of life, through various activities. A trip that invites people from everywhere and every age to join an active movement with an aim to build a continuous bicycle path that connects Italy’s North and South. In the context of the global climate crisis and rising accounts of social isolation in youth, the project narrates an inspiring story to jointly move toward a more sustainable mobility system.

Antiparos is a small island found in Cyclades region that despite the small number of habitats receives a high number of visitors during the summer months. In this context, Aegean Rebreath (AR) & the municipal authorities developed a partnership in 2018 with the aim of introducing holistic interventions to address the challenge of marine and coastal pollution. Within a really short period, the example of Antiparos island became a best practice that paved the way for developing a national model.
