Studio was organized on the occasion of the founding of the national branch of DOCOMOMO in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal is the creation of a digital archive of Banja Luka modern architecture and urbanism, its digital reconstruction, protection, promotion, and narrative creation. Studio is formed as a collective effort, based on local social engagement with the objective of revoking collective identity and regaining a sense of belonging with the modernist heritage.

Our project aims to reconnect urban spaces with nature, to generate an ecosystem where it is easy to participate in physical activity, inclusion and autonomy. From a sustainable approach, we aim to transform and beautify (inside and outside) the educational centres. Through a chessboard and its squares (Zafra chess city), we will work on learning situations in an interdisciplinary way, where students become messengers, responsible for the change. What would be our lifestyle if we respected all the Detailed, Spatial Urban plans developed during 80s or 90s?
In just 30 years many of the cities had their population increased twice. Like Podgorica which had 50k citizens and currently there is more than 250k inhabitants.Was such a growth foreseen 30-40 years ago?Yes, it was. We will show you in the unique VR, AR and photo exhibitions where would we live today if used the cultural architectural treasure of urban planning developed for us.

CoCaps proposes, implements and evaluates an architectural higher education approach focusing on trans-disciplinarity and community engagement, involving the students with local stakeholders to co-design and co-implement sustainable, inclusive and high-quality public spaces. This approach aims to the development of transversal soft skills and competencies for the students and advanced participatory skills by immersing them in a real setting, redefining their role as future professionals.

ECOLUTION is international platform for development and support of young designers who are working in a field of sustainable design and to develop international career in the fashion industry via restoring a sense of belonging by showing how a new, renovated, regenerated or restored environment through clothing and style can relate to contemporary demographic realities, dynamics in culture and arts and lifestyles.

Becoming Lumbardhi is the ongoing process of reviving Lumbardhi Cinema and its historic neighbourhood, through a gradual restoration, diverse community participation, bottom-up institution-building and interdisciplinary programs. By jointly creating a public space and a center for visual art, cinema, music, research and education, Lumbardhi inspires a sense of belonging, generates discussions and knowledge about the city, supports civil society and stimulates artistic and critical imagination.

The Danube Design Lab empowers disadvantaged students from vocational schools to create new, sustainable public spaces along the Danube river in Ruse (Bulgaria). This provides opportunities for these often disenfranchised young people to be more included socially and develop professional networks. Each pop up architectural creation - made with recyclable materials such as wood, metal, fabric and mulch - allows residents to mingle, enjoy art together and reconnect with a part of the riverside that was long neglected.

ÎntreVecini regenerates the community spirit, creating offline micro-communities, on the block of flats terraces, to form sustainable local hubs in Romanian cities.
After successfully finishing the pilot project, this year IntreVecini will install a minimum of 10 kits for 10 blocks free of charge, carrying out more than 100 interactive-activities around sustainability. Every project starts with installing Photovoltaic on a bloc of flats to engage the neighbours in a journey of change-making.

Wind energy generates 21% of Germany's gross electricity, but what happens to the rotor blades after they are used? 7500 rotor blades are yearly disposed in Germany. Rethink Rotor is a collaborative project between Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and OX2Architekten. The students from different departments have dealt with the topic of recycling rotor blades and thus created Rethink Rotor. Through the expertise of different fields we have found a functional way to reuse rotor blades.
