Genius Loci is an interactive digital mapping tool designed and made by citizens to safeguard the Šančiai district of Kaunas against top-down decision-making that prioritized private value above public interest. Each map represents local landmarks, nature, people and their stories. Together, the interactive maps and over 1,000 inputs form a data set to create a new sustainable vision for this urban neighbourhood, preserving its cultural heritage, landscape and environment.

ROD is a space that was repurposed from an old heating station into a community space. We believe that in each of us there are seeds of goodness that must be helped grow. ROD is a school of good deeds where we learn practically how to do good through stories, good design, nature, meaning, community, creativity and learning. We build on local culture, traditions and craft and developing creative skills and thinking, a spirit of involvement and mutual learning for children, adults and families.

The Valletta Design Cluster project is a regeneration project of a 17th Century building which had been abandoned for the last 30 years and rehabilitated into a  Valletta Design Cluster  which is a community space for cultural and creative practice. The project helped to rescue from obsolescence the building whilst regenerating a whole node within the city which had been abandoned, whilst also creating a roof garden to be enjoyed by the users of building and public in general. 

Precollinear Park: a Turin-based placemaking project transforming a former tramway bed into an urban linear park ー a new community hub as a response to Covid-19. The project was born out of participatory planning and generated a community of over 100 volunteers that develop and upkeep the reconquered public space. Furnished with reused co-designed materials, it has become a focal point for the local community, hosting gatherings, cultural events and even lessons partnering with nearby schools.
