Going beyond housing has become both a social and economic requirement of the times. The current crisis has accelerated the redefining of the relationship between social landlords and tenants for the benefit of all involved. With specific programmes and a fully computerised dedicated co-working space, LogiRep brings the benefits of technology to its tenants, thereby pioneering a new approach to community building and economic uplifting in its Normandy housing estates. The rewards are multiple.

The works consist of energy efficiency interventions, structural renovation, in addition to the total restyling of a residential building from the 1960s, which can be divided into three independent apartments.
The project takes note of the imposing volume of the pre-existing building and highlights it by removing its projections, simplifying its geometry, redesigning solids and voids with large squared holes and transforming the roof into a private useful surface.

We are a company of social impact, circular economy and environmental awareness that cleans plastic from the bottom of the sea and turns it into furniture as a way to give it a second life and a high sustainable value. We achieve all this thanks to the collaboration of companies, organizations and individuals who finance the cleaning of plastic from the sea, to the more than 2000 fishermen who help us in the plastic collection along the Mediterranean and to our recycling and revaluation partners

Quinta do Pisão is part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, which belongs to the Natura 2000 network, and is the redevelopment of abandoned agricultural land into a working farm and large public park offering walking and cycling paths, as well as a range of events based around sustainable tourism. Since the changes were made to Quinta do Pisão, local biodiversity has increased, and local people as well as visitors, primarily from Lisbon, increasingly use the space for recreation.

SuperSolferino The Beauty Near Us starts during the pandemic lockdown days, when we had to stay home or could only wander nearby it, and we were isolated from our friends and families

In those days I felt like my eyes became bigger and were able to see beauty in simple ordinary landscapes, streets, buildings.

Struggling to overcome such difficult days, I gave my home a new name and a logo as an imaginary place open to sharing of creative contents linked with lockdown days SuperSolferino

Émilieu Studio created, for Camondo Méditerranée design school, a furniture system entirely in repurposed material. Our guidelines: modularity, abolition of the indoor/outdoor frontier, a practical approach to environmental sciences. Through this highly innovative project for a large-scale learning community, we created:

• A circular economical system
• New educational and ecological approaches
• A new aesthetical grammar
• Co-design with the learning community and the inhabitants of the region.

Landares Festival is a one-week gathering of people working to explore the potential of land art as a means to investigate new forms of sustainable relationships between human beings and nature. It takes place in a rural area, where participants, visitors and local population are invited to create artistic installations and performances with natural on-site materials, zero waste and locally inspired contents.

Dementia (cognitive impairment) an umbrella term describing a chronic disease of the brain, followed by gradual deterioration of cognitive, emotional and social skills often leading to a complete withdrawal from society to avoid rejection and embarrassment. The research project D.A.S. has achieved positive change of both public perception of dementia in society and individual circumstances of people with dementia, carers and relatives by means of art and design strategies and artistic research.

Art is the power able to save the world by translating the communities’ needs. It has not only an extraordinary power to heal, but can also be applied anywhere and by anyone in a quite practical way in order to create sustainable living environment together. And thus the idea of the Kuldiga Street Art Festival was born to create sustainable murals on the buildings of the new part of Kuldiga town (Latvia) gradually transforming the municipality into the Open-Air Art Gallery.

Every society needs space to sit by the campfire, to talk, to listen, to express oneself. BE Amphitheatre does precisely that for Warsaw. We want it to become the place of meaningful gatherings and speeches, a new symbol for this part of Mokotów and fuel for change.
