NEB Prizes 2023: All Applications

This initiative was started in order to enrich the educational and recreational offer for children in one of the less developed regions of Serbia (East Serbia) through the programme designed to empower the children's mental strength, resilience, a proactive life approach, goal-orientation, communication skills and foreign language skills. The programme aims at reaching the outcomes through specially designed workshops that consist of game-like activities, drama, craftwork and project work, etc.

Creative Institute is a young educational and advisory nonprofit organization. We act as a catalyst for creative processes by providing external support to people that lack the confidence or the know-how. We look for creative opportunities and help implement projects. We create and support professional creative communities. We connect people from the nonprofit, business and scientific sector to provide non-formal education and innovative problem-solving solutions.

Osnovna škola Mate Lovraka Petrinja is an elementary school from Croatia, situated in a small town called Petrinja.We have 372 students and 72 employees( teachers and stuff).After the destructive earthquake on 29 December 2020, which was 6.2M strong, school was renewed within a short mainframe and school has organized classroom lessons and activities for students.Our School Cooperative was one of the extracurricular activities which brought students and teachers together in one goal - have fun.

The Introductory for Beekeeping Tradition as an Educational Tool is intended to provide teachers a framework for understanding both the scope of the project and the conceptual components of Beekeeping Tradition. The project is broken into four parts: (i) Introduction to BTET; (ii) Beekeeping tradition book for teachers; (iii) Community engagement; and (iv) Video awareness.

Culture for Climate is a grassroots initiative aimed at greening the cultural sector. The group consists of 9 women: employees of cultural institutions, NGO's and independent artists and curators.Our aim is to promote pro-environmental attitudes. We believe that our activities will contribute to indispensable changes in regulations in culture field. Culture for Climate is also a collectively built knowledge resource which was collected in a form of ecological guide with free access.

"Esparto grass died when plastic was born". In 2018 we promoted philosophical discussions about beauty in Villarejo de Salvanés, where the imaginary of esparto, almost lost, was again considered.
So, we launched HABITAR EL ESPARTO to recover this Intangible Cultural Heritage through artistic residences in an informative space that links artisans, artists, designers, schools...A community collaborative pathway has been followed with relevant results. An opportunity for naturocultural change.

On a site of an old asphalt factory, now being transformed, we are engaged in a redefinition of a character that is important to reconnect citizens with nature: The Garden Caretaker. A role that embodies cross-disciplinary skills unfolding through the intersection of art, storytelling, biodiversity and citizens engagement, facilitating social art pieces that seek to stimulate and strengthen multi-species-communities, hereby introducing art as a method for social and ecological regeneration.

Floating University Berlin is a natureculture learning site created by over 50 artists, designers, architects, scientists, engineers, neighbours and kids. It is located in a polluted rainwater retention basin of the former Tempelhof Airport. It is simultaneously a working infrastructure of the city's water system and a home to wetland plants, birds, frogs, bats and foxes. The experimental educational campus was built with low-impact materials and includes various water filtration systems. Today it offers a broad range of cultural and educational programs around peoples' relationships with the city and the more-than-human world.

The initiatives of the Bulgarian communities in the Republic of Serbia will be promoted and upgraded: Panchevo, Novi Sad and Ivanovo, united by the pursuit of a more sustainable and inclusive future by carrying out traditional and new activities: Bulgariada Festival, Scientific Round Table on Cultural and Historical Heritage, Connecting Bulgarians and Serbs, Shop Salad Festival, Folklore Festival “Golden accordion”, informal trainings on the topic of Sustainability, Folklore and Nature.
