School should be a place where everyone flourishes in the environment which fosters diversity, equity and inclusion. Primary school students are at the most vulnerable age when their attitudes, values and self-esteem develop. For these two reasons Ivo Andric Primary School has developed the initiative to improve the inclusion and equity via: high-quality and inclusive education; professional development for teachers; digital transition, and teacher-student-parent cooperation.

Through a series of site-specific, experiential workshops, art and architecture students from different national/cultural backgrounds collaborate on the production of short movies that creatively interpret the quotidian life in historic urban landscapes as a dynamic field of cross-cultural intersections in time and space. Their space-driven narratives contemplate aspects of social awareness and inclusion, promote cultural dialogue and explore the prospect of belonging as meaningful dwelling.

The project aims to trigger a radical process of change in the approach to environmental sustainability and is divided into 3 sub-projects:

Encouraging sustainable mobility for the home-to-school journey of high school students and school staff

The Pedibus project for their primary school pupils to get around on foot
2.Hack-a-town
Peer to peer training among students
3.Outdoor education
The project aims to renew teaching by enhancing outdoor education

The Bamboo Project:
How we can prevent ecocide through education and science.

Inclusive Music is the first inclusive music school located in the heart of Skopje, North Macedonia that offers accessible, affordable and inclusive programs for learning instruments. The programs are developed in joint collaboration between professional musicians and special education workers in order to provide an interdisciplinary approach towards 'development through music'. Classes can be taken along with, in consultation with or without a present special educator as per the learner's wish.

A training trip to the Netherlands focusing on sustainability in day care centres: In addition to theoretical knowledge, initiatives for sustainable design of day care centres were presented and practical implementation was made tangible through job shadowing in different day care centres.
The project is embedded in a larger mutual learning initiative, which organises learning processes on many levels and includes further training trips on other topics, e.g. Democracy Education.

The " First Wave - Surfing in Curricular Activities" project provides initiation to the sports modality of surfing, as well as training sessions about the Ocean in environmental and safety aspects, involving about 500 first cycle students from Torres Vedras coastal schools.
Through lessons and awareness-raising activities, the project is operational since 2019, on various beaches that have the necessary conditions for the initiation of surfing.

This project targets educators and students from the Pomak community, an isolated popoulation which resides in the villages of the broader area of Thrace, and from the city of Xanthi, in Greece. Through running STEM workshops with a focus on the environment, the objective was to empower students and local teachers and equip them with knowledge and skills whilst using science as a neutral language to bridge cultural and socio-economical differences.

Schoolaboratory of the Future is a context-specific pedagogical experiment at the site of cultural marginality, economic dependence, and political oppression. By interpreting the notion of a common future–as a distinctly human capacity–this open-end collaborative endeavor in public space constitutes a new sense of belonging among marginalized children of the urban periphery in Belgrade, Serbia. Remaining in the making, our initiative is a persistent self-revealing path to who we are.

The Giufà Project is a collector of artistic creations of various genres (prose, music, visual art, physical, social and community theatre), multicultural experiences and inclusive theater pedagogy that utilizes Giufà's stories: a character-bridge among some of the Mediterranean cultures.
Giufà is a character of folk stories found in many countries that are washed by this sea: for us it is a symbol of the one who travels to seek freedom, with nothing in his pocket but his stories to tell.
