I Grew Up In the Blockhouse delves into the personal stories of Soviet blockhouse living experiences, creating a space for common ground and connection among inhabitants. It takes Latvia as its starting point and shines a spotlight on the ongoing issue of isolation and poor living conditions. Through the use of personal narratives as a foundation, the project aims to inspire a united society that is empowered to make proactive decisions and improve its living conditions.

The Kreislauf Wald (circular forest in german) is a pilot project in Cologne to turn public green spaces into lush productive forests, giving way for the production of local food and materials in the city. Initiated by two design students, this system aims to shake up the consumption habits of citizens, using the design school as a laboratory to investigate forgotten uses of the local flora, and invent new ones. It embodies a new economic model based on self-sufficiency and collaboration.

As cities are growing, changing, and creating new-century dynamics, they need smart green spaces for growing communities. The green line concept is based on finding unused narrow spaces and transforming them into a linear park connecting link. By identifying unused, inaccessible, leftover, or forgotten lines, finding upcycle solutions for design, and developing a tailor-made concept for each city. Green line is way of thinking for future sustainable EU cities.

The topic of design concerns supplementing the development by inscribing the infill building with utility functions related to the context of the place, which is Nadodrze in Wrocław.

Revoluto is a project formulated under the concept of connecting people with nature. It unites and revitalizes the different green areas of Madrid's forest belt, generating community through educational programmes where citizens can immerse themselves in the natural environment composed of biomaterials.

Tackling plastic waste, democratizing skateboarding & proving to people what products made from waste can do, through the open source production of the worlds first traditional popsicle shaped recycled plastic skateboard decks.

The design grows from the desire to investigate the complexity of the site and to reveal the potential of the archaeological system. The project aims to enhance the historical heritage through a conservation process: the new facilities become elements which, by keeping a dialogue with the ancient ruins, are aimed at promoting the use of the archeological area. The goal is to rediscover the memories of the past together with the visitors and to increase the attractiveness of the area

What do your good deeds achieve? This question is not asked often enough, even though it's so important. Either you do them without thinking, or you do them and never find out what resulted from them. To rectify this, one can see clearly in the form of a causality diagram what has already resulted from a single act of altruism.

For generations, humankind has been exploiting animals. The consumption of meat, fur, dairy products etc., has been increasing over the years. As a result, there are far more animals of certain species living on the Earth today than was intended by nature. If people concerned with animal rights stop exploiting animals now, their population will dramatically decrease. Depriving these animals an opportunity to live at all – is it a solution we seek? This project introduces an alternative approach.

The aim of this project is to provide affordable housing for three different generations (seniors, families in need, young adults). Applying the old principle of a multigenerational house on a bigger scale will create an opportunity to connect people through activities and space.
The main three principles of the project are: reusing, producing and sharing.
