The cultural landscape of the Ulló salt fields needs an intervention, a re-linking of this natural area, located on the Vigo estuary with its proto-industrial salt past. So, how to link the proto-industrial past to the natural area of Ulló? This project seeks to activate the memory, for which the proposed actions are both functional and architectural as well as poetic and educational, seeking the feeling of belonging and improving the experience for visitors.

Food composition analysis of traditional dishes could help identify populations’ dietary patterns and association with observed diseases. To deal with these purposes, traditional recipes should be collected from the local population, elaborated and computed in micro and macronutrients composition and allergen content. This helps to highlight health impact of traditional dishes and allows to promote more sustainable lifestyle and preserve biodiversity through consciousness food choices.

Shape your trash like never before!

The Evros/Meric river marks a border, fortifying the limits of the European Union. Recent political events, such as the refugee crisis and the militarization of Evros, impacted the use of the river. The only way to rebuild the communication between people themselves and the river, is to remind them of their common culture and past. Creating a “bridge” that can spread values, ideologies and practices that make up the region’s common culture, in order to spark the beginning of a common future.

TOURMIX is a decentralized and crowdsourced based logistics platform that optimize home deliveries by using existing commutes. Members of the social community can look for packages on the platform, and if they are going on a similar route, they can act as couriers. As a result, an additional journey of delivery is eliminated, thus making home deliveries CO2 neutral and providing for a sustainable delivery network.

SOcio is a robot gripper suited for collaborative robots (the so called cobots), a sub-category of industrial machines which did not only prove to increase productivity without replacing the human workers, but it also has the seconday benefit to expand this Human-Machine cooperations in many different sectors, even outside the industrial world, like Craftsmanship.
This project is a small but significant step to make technologies and small workers live harmoniously while preserving traditions.

Martamarcà is a project for the Santa Marta neighborhood in Venice, designed to spread the idea of the market as a public place where the meeting between citizens leads to greater conviviality and incen-tivizes a circular economy model, bringing objects back to life through bartering. This sense of partic-ipation is amplified during the set-up workshop, in which the structures of the event will be construct-ed, encouraging the relationship between the people involved.

My project is connected with people I know and met in person; they are unemployed, isolated, depressed, and deep in thoughts about the meaninglessness of their own lives. They don’t want to change their dirty clothes and can’t live in the fresh air. This group of people is looking deeply into the past but also pay a lot of attention to social networks. Unfortunately, most of the time, they read misinformation about the present, increasing the illusion of isolated ideas and dreams.

Protura is an open-platform to create and share regenerative polycultural strategies to collectively develop and manage rural and urban community farming initiatives. A botanical library linked to mapping, design and operational tools catalyzes both new and existing projects. It enables a collective digital web between practice and theory beyond physical borders. Protura helps weave local domestic and landscape habitat in sustainable symbiosis for thriving global diversity. # protura.xyz

Material Stories is a project to help us broaden our understanding of our built environment and its objects. How are they made, by whom, with what material? The project will combine research with publications (books, exhibitions, podcasts and more) to try to answer these questions.
