Serea is a navigation device that allows its users to be present in-the-moment, and re-experience the green in their urban surroundings during their commute in a new way using a dynamic soundscape. Serea consists of a cardboard-made horn holding a smartphone, which generates a soundscape that seduces the user to follow the direction in which it increases in intensity. These directions do not lead directly towards the destination, but rather aim to let you wander on your way. 

The ciAsa (Rhaeto-Romanic for house) is a high-alpine family home in South Tyrol's St. Vigil, surrounded by the Dolomites of Val Badia and built entirely from wood which fell during heavy storms. Making use of what nature provided formed a maxim throughout the project, aiming for a reconnection with nature and strongly involving people from the village with their knowledge, passion and abilities. The house waives insulation materials and synthetics, while every surface was left untreated.

The Frastanz-Hofen education centre was developed as a joint location for childcare, kindergarten and primary school. It develops from an existing school building. The complex is designed to provide the most consistent and targeted pedagogy possible for children aged 1.5 to 10 years. Recurring shared spaces are also seen as pedagogical nodes. Familiar regional materials, thanks to their quality, promote communal identification, thus achieving social acceptance and sustainability beyond numbers.

Just above the center of Gossensaß village (1,100m), the residential house of a young family was built from insulating concrete. It aims to emphasize location-specific and monolithic construction together with a distinct life cycle thinking, returning to simple construction methods with regionally available and ageable materials, waiving constructions needing many layers or any coatings.

The Village as a House is inspired by the residents of Topolò, whose homes were designed for a past lifestyle led mostly outdoors, and lack space and infrastructure. Residents use empty places scattered around their village for everyday tasks, as if each small house was a room in a bigger shared house, the village itself. This solution provides a model to revive rural areas: instead of transforming each home, unused spaces in villages can be converted into communal facilities, which satisfy modern day needs, establish a strong sense of community and could attract new residents.

A professional training for educators engaged in higher education (e.g. university teachers, researchers and staff) providing deep experiences around sustainability learning and that shall lead to a transformative international community of practitioners to regenerate higher education in Europe. The transcending rationality for this holistic experience is inspired by the Schumacher College (UK) that provides education for head, heart and hands, and will grant innovative educational practices.

Entitled (t)rhypark, this project proposes reflections on the Rhine territory and its ecological balance. The river which flows through this territory unites France, Switzerland, and Germany at one specific point: the tripoint. We believe that the landscape is no longer defined solely by administrative boundaries, but rather by the inherited context.

This is where the (t)rhypark takes place, an architecture at the service of its territory, establishing the foundations of a poetic geography.

Cabiner is a network of innovative off-grid cabins blended in the natural environment connected by hiking routes, delivering a positive impact on biodiversity and the local economy.

Only accessible by foot, the circular designed cabins are temporarily placed in nature reserves. The hike and remote overnight stay offer visitors a unique nature experience. We help to protect local nature environment by investing revenue and show the potential of sustainable nature-based tourism close to home.

EuroFabrique gives a voice to European youth, artists and thinkers to question the idea of Europe and its future. For four days, the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris has become a collaborative and transdisciplinar workshop, somewhere between a hackathon and a giant studio, bringing together 400 students from European top art and design schools. Together, they materialized the forms, imaginations and desires capable of re enchanting the idea of Europe in a sustainable, inclusive and beautiful way.
