Description of the project

Summary

The need for sustainability is fundamentally reminded that we exploit the land and each other in the hope of maximizing profit, and thus make it very difficult to create human dignity in general. Interestingly, the advancement of science, technology, and globalization is soaring, yet we notice that 2 billion people do not have safe drinking water in their homes. To counteract this negative trend, people need to be awakened. For example, events need to be organized where they can creatively help each other build their environment from materials that show a positive alternative such as recycled plastic. Such community activity can reinforce reflective thinking in participants and become a goal to improve themselves and their environment.

Key objectives for sustainability

The main objective of the Malom project is to shape attitudes in people. The recycled plastic joineries have a cheerful color aesthetic appearance, differing in appearance from the usual building materials.

Key objectives for aesthetics and quality

Nodes made of colored recycled material have a high aesthetic. Due to the thickness of their material, it can be strong enough to build load-bearing structures. These structures are easy to assemble making their construction enjoyable.

Key objectives for inclusion

The construction of the structures would take place through community cooperation.

Shaping the attitudes of the people involved in the project towards a better future.

Innovative character

We build communal buildings from recycled plastic.
