Can small local actions has an impact in the communities in terms of improving their state of health?
Considering state of health goes much further than a physical involvement, this project is based on Building Social Bonds in Communities using a building as link between people.
The building itself has no specific use further than a sequence of spaces with strong identity and versatility. It works as a hub where matter and spaces are interconned with no end, like people do in cycle of life.

Programme of incentive Andalusian Energy Agency, a government-owned entity assigned to the Regional Ministry of Employment, Business and Trade, whose mission is to develop the policies of the Andalusian Regional Government aimed at optimising the energy supply of our region, from an economical and environmental point of view. Description of the project
Summary
The project is based on the idea that building is not just a physical feature, but a concept that can provide local communities of tools to close bonds and promote interaction.
It is designed to give a space to communities to build together activities related to the family development. The idea itself is deep in the mediterranean village culture, where the families where considered not only parents, sister and brothers or close relatives, but everybody in local community that has a role in daylife and educational context of the members of the family.
The building tries to recall this kind of idea in a modern time, by the use of a small hub of spaces where the bonds between local families can strength since the very beginning on pregnancy, until further further family growth. This initiative was a challenge for the promoters of the building but so far the support for the idea is being totally successful and by this european bauhaus prize looks like a great opportunity to show the results of the project.
This center needed of a very unique building as is not an standard programme os uses. But further this strong conceptual approach of the project would need a building that offer enough versatility to all kind of community experiences in larger or smaller groups, with an educational background from the building itself.
For this purpose ftca architects and Professor Architect Ignacio Fernández Torres were in charge of the design of a building that can offer sustainability in different ways: As a concept of design and link to local culture, as an educational background and by the use of high efficiency technologies even though the building looks like a local construction that could have been in the site for centuries.

Key objectives for inclusion
The main goal of the project is the inclusion through the idea of family. But family in our time is an extended term, non a close definition. In this project them need of diversity and interaction between different models of family is a prime topic. To know people themself from the knowledge of the others.
The project has incorporated monoparental families, same gender parents families, divorced or separated families have been even involved in activities due to the link that the center has build by helping them in the birth of their children.
Results in relation to category
The main impact of the project is that strengthens the idea that a building is not a physical space but a bond between people in a community under a same a space. This has a consequence on the understanding of architecture not as a matter but as a space of relationships between people.
In this context to promote and architecture that can offer the most advanced technology solutions including a very high identity of its language is a challenge that makes this building open more questions than answers in the role of contemporary architecture.
How Citizens benefit
As we can see in photos, the impact in the community has been considerable, and we can consider the project very sucessful with their initial objectives previously described.
