Description of the project

Summary

The real change will come from those who have not been "polluted" by the linear economy. Beauty, sustainability and inclusion must be born of young minds, of proud ignorant people who come into contact with the greatest referents of the transition towards the Circular Economy.

A permanent meeting point is essential between professionals who carry out research and application of circular products / systems and those who dedicate their entire day to questioning and learning. Ignorance, as a tool, brings an important value that has long been underestimated. This "questioning" of the "ignorant young people" does not serve economic purposes, nor does it seek a quick and easy change, but rather delves into the current lack of cohesion between multiple areas that must function symbiotically to make the Circular Economy a desirable and humane system. This is how LikenLab was born.

An internship program to bring together university students from different fields of study, with different concerns and particular interests, so that they can reflect on the most constitutive issues of the transition towards the Circular Economy. We consider young ignorants as key to divulge the narrative of Circular Economy, making it desirable. How will we manage? With the “questioning” method.

First, the ignorant will deeply study the person or project they will have a dialogue about later. In this way, the dialogue with the expert will not be traditional. Students will ask from their different perspectives, putting on the same level the doubts of young ignorant restless with the knowledge of an expert.

The results of these interactions will be expressed in two ways: an internal podcast to understand the transition from ignorance. The second, brings knowledge to the community, transmitting new practices to the community of Navarra. Young people will be the engine, then, of ideas and reference projects.

Key objectives for sustainability

Sustainability is one of the key aspects at LikenLab. The Circular Economy is the premise that unites these restless young people and experts in different subjects. Some want to understand this Circular Economy, while others try to apply it in their sectors in the best possible way ... but they all fight for a better world. In that sense, the best practices that this expert figure discusses with the restless ignorant will end up permeating the population through replication. The students, once the dialogue sessions are finished, will travel throughout Navarra with the intention of offering free advice in terms of Circular Economy, bringing with them these solutions previously discussed with the expert, promoting sustainability in the region.

On the other hand, these same meeting sessions between ignorant and expert can bring with them the discovery of new opportunities. Ideas perhaps previously discarded or that come from a young environment that creates new Circular Economy practices that would likewise be transferred to the whole of Navarra society through the work of these restless students.

Key objectives for aesthetics and quality

LikenLab offers college students a unique opportunity; a newly created internship with a very different perspective than traditional offers. They are invited to rethink their future, to collaborate on the last frontier of knowledge and sociology, and ultimately to investigate the Circular Economy in terms not only of viability, but also of comfort and desirability.

As a result, these restless young people will be able to have an out of the box experience, which will enhance their reflection capacities, inviting them to rethink everything that happens around them. A commendable job, with a kind and beautiful goal.

This same kindness, through replicability, would end up being shared throughout Navarra in the sectors that we investigate. The young people will advise local cases with their experience, also applying a much more humane and kind approach to them, taking care of themselves to see how good practices should be adapted to apply them properly in the social fabric of the region.

The experience is also born from the unique opportunity to have a private session with expert facilitators, first-hand researchers who will provide them with several occasions for deep dialogue in which to learn and speak with him at a same level.

Key objectives for inclusion

The LikenLab project is inclusive in its own development, as it connects great experts of different kinds with Navarra society through the important figure that these curious young people represent. As a result, the derivations of the practices that can be applied in the region will go through a human filter that will adapt them as best as possible, making them desirable and interesting.

This group of ignorant youth is also made up of people with different concerns and studies, a mixed multicultural group organized by LikenLab's own management with the intention of creating a diverse group that contributes multiple unique and irreplaceable points of view.

This inclusion, the diversity inherent in the work group, contributes much when it comes to understanding problems, proposing solutions. The different group experiences ensure that problems have no solution simple and that each dialogue becomes a debate in which not all parties may be in favor.

Last but not least, this inclusion is reflected also in the work of these ignorant, who, when preparing the dialogue sessions with the expert, they will travel through the Navarra regionlooking to talk about the subject to deal with people of different stratasocial issues, bringing to the table concerns, problems and opinions of the Navarra society as a whole, favoring its inclusion.

Innovative character

LikenLab offers to revalue ignorance in its most restless face. Those who do not know but who want to understand, encourage dialogue more than any other actor. Dynamization is born from that same concern, from asking without limits, without fear, without laws or norms that can govern them.

In this way, bringing ignorance to the table, we make experts rethink old dogmas or even dare to undo the path they have trodden with the intention of coming up with new solutions that could have escaped their own vision.

We understand this ignorance as the true engine of the Circular Economy, and of proactive youth with the idea of promoting a change in the world that they will end up inheriting. It's about caring, involving young adults in conversations about the world of tomorrow.
