DinU is a product design concept aiming at inspiring new life styles. It is a device equipped with an in-built projector, a speaker and a system of sensors and a microcontroller that allow you to manage the data produced for domestic consumption (electricity, water, gas, etc.).The device aims to heighten the awareness of its users by generating sustainable and virtuous behavior while offering entertainment and fun. It can also be used as a voice assistant and for home automation control.

Summary
DinU is a device conceived as an electronic friendly product that uses digital technologies to promote new lifestyles, helping users to manage and control their energetic consumption, while becoming a playmate able to listen to music, watch videos and interact with other people.
The device is composed of the base, which contains the battery that powers it, the microphone, the bluetooth sensor, wi-fi, 1TB memory and the speaker.
The neck consists of robotic joints that help in stabilizing the projector on any type of flat surface: in this way you do not have to adjust the focus or tilt of the screen.
The head contains the projector, a camera, a LED-based feedback system and an infrared sensor to perceive the depth and three-dimensionality of objects.
DinU has different types of power supply. It can be connected to a power supply constantly (Type-c) to last to a prolonged use. It has a battery that determines a range of 8-10 hours. DinU also has a Type-c port that has the function of powerbank so you can charge your devices (tablet / phone / computer). The external structure is composed of 4 shells, two for the base and two for the head that match.

DinU is a project with an innovative and engaging design. Thanks to the limited number of structural components it looks like a single and resistant shell. It is made of a single material to make it easier to disassemble and recycle.
Thanks to the wi-fi connection, the system of sensors and the microcontroller can synchronize with various domestic devices, allowing you to monitor, control and manage energetic consumption rates, such as electricity or heating cycles.

A wide range of users can benefit of DinU’s company: from very young users or children, to professionals and teachers. Key objectives for inclusion
The projector can transmit any type of multimedia file on all flat surfaces. Thanks to bluetooth all types of files can be transmitted and shared allowing the interaction of multiple individuals such as between friends, professors and students, both in classrooms and business meetings.
The voice assistant function combined with the sensor system detecting depth and obstacles can be used by all types of users including those with physical or sensory impairments.

DinU combines existing components and technologies with an innovative design, making them interact with each other in order to guarantee versatility in use. DinU delivers complete experiences to the end user in every context and situation. It can be a convenient solution in a work situation where it is necessary to have at one's disposal performing means, or in a domestic situation where it may be necessary a voice assistant, a television, a radio or a domotic controller.
