Key objectives for sustainability
In daily life, we use shampoos, dish-washing liquids and detergents every day. When they are used up, we often throw away the empty bottles directly. Although most of these discarded bottles will be recycled, they still have to be reprocessed and packaged in the factory before being transported to the supermarket for resale. This process is not only time-consuming, but labour and cost intensive. Non biodegradable bottles are also non recyclable. These bottles are generally hard to decompose. Therefore, the damage to the environment is still very large. The goal of my design is to solve this problem. By replacing recyclable bottles with reusable ones, they do not need to be thrown away after the first use. Instead, they can be refilled in stores at suitable “refilling stations“ and taken home again. This is very conducive to the sustainable development of society.
Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
The aesthetic design of the bottle is a result of much research. The angles of the bottle have different beautiful curves but the whole process is very simple and clean. The two lids are consistent with the overall style, but differ slightly as they are different parts and serve varying functions. Contrasting the silver lids against the white background, it enriches the overall beauty of the product.
Key objectives for inclusion
Common characteristics gives the bottles a distinct appearance, however, they are highly customizable with different volumes and shapes. These variations give customers an opportunity to find a perfect bottle to suit their needs, giving the product versatility and greater market reach.
Innovative character
An innovative feature of the bottle is that it can be refilled from the bottom. Because this hole is not often used, the appearance of the bottle is much more simple and compact. The cap is also tested and designed to be easy to open. To be adaptable to different scenarios in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room, the design has grips which allow for flexible handling. It is also very convenient and comfortable to pick up and use, and is highly portable, easily fitting into many bags.
