Dantz Point is a multidisciplinary cultural project that unites avant-garde electronic music with culture and spaces, creating DJ sessions and electronic artists in emblematic places. These sessions are recorded with various cameras and drones to later create an audiovisual archive. This file is edited and shared on different digital platforms throught “streaming” in a false direct format. Dantz Point is a project that began in Euskadi, Spain, but the idea is to expand to more places.

Dantz Point is a multidisciplinary cultural project that unites avant-garde electronic music with culture and spaces, creating DJ sessions and electronic artists in emblematic places. These sessions are recorded with various cameras and drones to later create an audiovisual archive. This file is edited and shared on different digital platforms through “streaming” in a false direct format. Dantz Point is a project that began in Euskadi, Spain, but the idea is to expand to more and more areas and territory.
The objective of Dantz Point is to bring, disseminate and promote culture, eliminating barriers to access to culture, in this way, achieving cooperation between different territories, eliminating cultural and social barriers.
This all mixed, generates a creative environment that strengthens and encourages professionals and agents in the artistic sector to take part. In addition, it encourages the emergence of new links between professional actors and artists.
Concepts such as the digitization of culture, cross-border collaboration, addressing the gender gap, environmental sustainability, or cultural and artistic innovation are part of the DNA of this project.
A flexible and innovative initiative that promotes the digitization of culture. Culture, heritage, architecture, new technologies, tradition, history, tourism, art, music, ... all driven by the same project.
Key objectives for sustainability
At Dantz, working for a better, cleaner and greener future is primordial. We know that this depends solely on us and that is why when carrying out any type of activity they are taken into account.
Dantz Point has a commitment to the environment in its DNA, which is why they are non-destructive activities, this means that they do not harm the environment since all assembly and disassembly (technical equipment, pallets, ...) are done taking into account the natural specifications of each space.
On the other hand, the digitization of cultural events generates a safe space for these natural spaces, promoting their value and importance in a non-destructive way. In addition, the productions of these events are carried out by emitting the least amount of waste possible, such as paper, ink, ... For the immediate future, all the energy that will be used will be generated in a sustainable way by electric power generators. renewable (solar, wind, ..)
Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
The art, heritage and culture are in the pillars of this project. In addition to the artistic quality, the selections of musicians and the theme of each of the Dantz Point, it is important that the pieces as a whole transmits the essence and beauty of the places that are used.These places play a fundamental and main role in the work, since a large part of the weight falls on them.
As for the experience, Dantz Point seeks to create a complete and immersive experience in which viewers, both physical and digital, are immersed in a sea of sensations and stimuli, where they can enjoy aesthetics, planes, landscapes, buildings and heritage, and learn at the same time, as these pieces promote history and culture.
Key objectives for inclusion
Without a doubt, one of the values and strengths of this project is inclusion. Dantz Point seeks to help integrate all people in society, especially in the cultural area. Through its hybrid, digital and physical format, it facilitates access to culture for all people, groups and collectives, without distinction, especially those who are in a disadvantaged position.
Two pillars on which the project is based are music and heritage, both terms open to everyone, which do not exclude any person.
Results in relation to category
The project is closely linked to new technologies and that is why digital platforms and new social networks (RRSS) are the engine of Dantz Point's communication plan. In addition, we have a large presence in the press, as they are (newsworthy) events, which facilitates the communication of Dantz Point to all profiles, different ages and cultures. The Dantz Point project has a scope of more than 8,000,000 thanks to its communication plan. This includes social networks: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.
Thanks to crossposting, the social networks of partners and collaborators are estimated to have an impact of 80,000-100,000 views for each Dantz Point, taking into account the amount of these events, the reach exceeds one million views.
How Citizens benefit
A great factor of the Dantz Point project is its added value thanks to the joint work of all the agents. Carrying out this project without the collaboration of citizens, since they provide a point of view, a vision and a wisdom that the other parties are unaware of. For this reason, it is worth emphasizing the importance of cooperation to transcend the borders between states to address the development of adjacent territories. This cooperation generates great benefits for the project:
Create synergies between cultural groups from different branches. In this way, each of these contributes its grain of sand and point of view to the project, managing to form a complete piece from various approaches. To this is added the experience, the journey and the previous work carried out by each of these groups. In addition, we will encourage the involvement of new groups for the future to be able to
Crossing of artists: The possibility of sharing local artists from each area, encouraging the participation of inter-territorial cultural agents.
Create a community where professional agents, artists, viewers can share experiences, opinions and much more. In this way we promote citizen participation with culture.
Eliminate barriers, working towards a joint future where territories coexist and provide feedback to grow, develop, learn and settle as one.
Innovative character
The Dantz Point are born from the fusion between new technologies, culture and electronic and avant-garde music, therefore, it is in constant development.
The very nature of the project, which seeks to digitize culture, is based on new technologies, which provide a large number of possibilities. On the one hand, the use of new digital platforms and social networks such as Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, allow connecting with audiences from all over the world, of all ages and cultures. On the other hand, the use of new communication models and strategies such as crossposting or cross publishing allow to squeeze the maximum potential of these digital tools.
With all this, Dantz Point manages to give a new twist to the way of consuming culture and becomes a perfect diffusion channel to reach new audiences.
With this project, Dantz Point won the "Best audiovisual creator of 2020" from Dance Television.
