Glooci is an app designed to improve the enjoyment of cultural heritage by making the visit of a small art city engaging, personalized and immersive. Glooci allows you to visiting a place and conversing with its protective soul, called Genius Loci in Roman worship. The Genius Loci is a chatbot that, with original multimedia content and and AI-based technologies, tells stories, legends, anecdotes and salient curiosities.

Summary
The project aims to development and commercialization of a smart assistant for visitors of art cities, called "Glooci", developed in a cloud environment with artificial intelligence and Natural Language Processing technologies.
In particular, the chatbot is aimed at:
Adult (18-65 +): The virtual assistant can chat and talk through an app with adults interested in visiting a cultural place, providing useful and illustrative information with contents written ad hoc for the user (video , images, guides, etc.);
Kids (6-17): The chatbot is aimed at children with video and image content and animations that tell the art and culture through simple language and animated content.
Thanks to the memorandum of understanding approved by the Municipality of Guardia Sanframondi, a beta version of Glooci has been created shows a path relative to the castle of Guardia Sanframondi e to the beauties of the country, with particular focus on cultivation wine. The prototype has the permission to: Evaluate any barriers to entry into the reference market; test the technical solutions and consider them characteristics and limits; know the real competitive advantage on the market; generate an analytics report on the use of the solution; present the solution to business partners and prospects; participate in SMAU Berlin, Milan and Naples as exhibitors.

Glooci intends to promote environmental sustainability.
• No to waste of paper! Glooci wants to be a valid and sustainable alternative to paper brochures because the user can, interacting with the virtual assistant, gets the information they need without having to learn about the environment.
• Yes to ecological awareness! Furthermore, the virtual assistant will be able to promote virtuous and sustainable behaviors, such as encouraging users to respect the cleanliness of a place by indicating the nearest waste collection or by encouraging them to follow virtuous behaviors in order to sensitize them to develop an ecological conscience.
• Yes to local tourism! The virtual assistant will advise the user about the information close to him. Traveling short distances means that the means of transport are alternating too - two wheels, the train and, why not, your own feet. Doing without the plane, benefits the environment, reduces stress, costs and consumption.

The interaction will improve the use of services and the impact of the company on the territory and increase sales through:

- the adaptation of contents to the level of basic user knowledge through a precise profiling
- the provision of personalized services based on specific interests.

The interaction with the genius loci can take place through text, text to speech and speech to text, guaranteeing accessibility. Moreover, thanks to the profiling it is possible to propose specific itineraries according to the needs and specific difficulties.

Glooci is a Territorial Marketing tool that attracts the traveler and satisfies his need for information. In addition to the enhancement of the villages, it can be customized for the promotion of cultural heritage, tourist routes, food and wine tours, museums and cities, for which the potential market is very large. In the world, and especially in Italy, there is a precious cultural heritage made up of villages, paths, forgotten landscapes, small cities of art which, despite being off the main tourist routes, have a significant historical, cultural, natural or architectural heritage. In this context, Glooci is introduced, aimed at becoming a game changer with respect to the way in which people relate to the cultural heritage, promoting actions aimed at enhancing the surrounding area, for example through suggestions on typical dishes and local food and wine products. The user will therefore not only be able to interact with the virtual assistant by learning historical information but at the same time can also ask for advice on the best catering activities and on ancient traditional recipes.
