ARTSSS is a sustainable platform for creation, inspiration and active artistic participation. An artistic network for sharing news and insights about current artistic ideologies and developments. A vibrant, interdisciplinary community for artists, collectives and creatives from all different artistic backgrounds, ranging from visual to performing arts. ARTSSS aims to promote artists and cultural activities, showcase art and bring creative individuals of today together.

Summary
ARTSSS is an artistic platform and network for current artworks and artists from a wide range of creative fields (from visual arts to performing arts) specialising in contemporary artistic practice. Artists, art collectives, performers and ensembles as well as anyone creatively curious, can find a place to discover and explore the latest artworks and artistic events currently existing and taking place in Germany and abroad. The project aims to support and promote artists, showcase current artworks, share news and insights about current artistic developments and ideologies, and bring together all of today's creative individuals to spark discussions and interactions. All featured artists or network members could have the opportunity to interact with each other, ask questions or form collaborations and get inspired from each other.
The platform strives to revolutionise the communication and connection of the artistic world of today and the future. Through regular events, presentations of different artistic practices and discussions, ARTSSS goal is to reflect on how the cultural world is evolving, motivate multidisciplinary interactions, support and engage actively contemporary artists and art lovers, and develop an innovative artistic network. Art raises awareness for cultural, political and social issues and constitutes an eternally developing community of individuals. ARTSSS platform wishes to break the boarders not only of various artistic practices, but also of different cultural backgrounds and utilise art as a universal language for communication within the cultural world.
Key objectives for sustainability
ARTSSS fosters sustainability and aims to achieve this by motivating its members and art lovers to support its actions. ARTSSS kindly asks the members or anyone being interested in artistic practices to help the platform by submitting monthly a small amount of money that they decide. This fee would work on a 'pay what you want/can' basis. This is the only sure and secure way to reach sustainability, in order to cover essential costs, as well as to organise more activities and events. Additionally, it maximises the affordability for everyone and opposes to social classifications. Supporting an artistic network that deals with cultural activities and is directly connected to the profession of an artist, is more than essential.
ARTSSS follows a 'give - receive - return' principal between team and members of the platform, which can be in an immaterial way, too. ARTSSS aims to actively engage its members to its activities, and create a circular way of organising and curating events and actions, by receiving not only financial support but also securing participation of its members in the activities being planned, by collaborating and co-curating them. The collaborative nature of the initiative creates a 'recycling' modus operandi for the platform, to exist and continue supporting culture and creative interactions. A financial and/or intangible contribution is then being transformed and translated into showcasing and promoting creative individuals, securing collaborations and motivating artistic practice, discussions and interactions, from which artists, creatives and art lovers could directly benefit from.
Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
ARTSSS’ platform encourages innovation and high-end creation, which sets not only a diverse aesthetic language of our times, but also shapes a creative direction for the future.
The selection and curation of content and material being uploaded on the Website or in general being displayed or presented, is constantly revised. The aim is to provide up-to-dated content, which triggers the interest of the cultural world and brings continuous traffic on the platform. Highest resolution material (photos, videos, etc.), as well as constant proof of the authenticity and high quality of the artworks being represented through the platform are of great importance for an extraordinary experience for ARTSSS’ members and visitors. Furthermore, the Website design and the general aesthetic image of the platform (newsletter, posters, social media accounts) reflect its purpose for achieving a diverse and vibrant artistic network, where quality and a contemporary approach is of greatest importance.
ARTSSS’ wishes to achieve a direct communication within the platform and with each creative individual, acknowledging their individuality. Securing the feeling of inclusivity and active participation within the platform creates directly a qualitative experience and forms the ‘creative’ language based on a democratic approach. ARTSSS’ platform plans to collaborate with renowned and established artists and professionals, and engage them in its activities, assuring a high level of interactions.
Key objectives for inclusion
Arts reflect not only the overall cultural heritage, but also the need to transfer ideologies and messages, that break the borders between the different cultural backgrounds. Artists are people who represent ideas. All together they create a strong and eternally developing community, which includes multiple principles in a world that evolves rapidly both technologically and socially. The art world strives for creative stimulus to develop artistic techniques and methods, to present current socio-political events and movements, to make history. Artists are individuals, whose voice is translated to colours, sounds and shapes. Therefore, it is our purpose to connect and support all those creative minds, having ourselves open minds, ears, eyes and hearts.
Values such as respect, trust, transparency, honesty, fidelity and a sense of responsibility towards the common good play a decisive role within the team and members of ARTSSS community. ARTSSS values direct, clear, empathetic and accessible communication among its membership and has a high sense of responsibility in topics regarding diversity and individuality. As an artistic network, it welcomes everybody, regardless ethnicity, culture, national origin, socioeconomic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, mental or physical ability. Everyone is being respected and the members of the network are asked to respect everyone equally, as well. ARTSSS creates a safe place, accessibility, constructive dialogue and collective shouldering for anyone who would be interested in participating in ARTSSS' activities. ARTSSS wishes to oppose hierarchies and formalities and to make decisions in a democratic way. Furthermore, ARTSSS goes against social classifications and provides maximum affordability for everyone.
Innovative character
ARTSSS is an innovative platform, which includes all different forms of art, ranging from visual to performing arts. It welcomes painters, dancers, musicians, sculpturers, video artists, 3D and digital artists, performers, installation artists, art researchers, photographers, collectives and others. The platform revolutionises the connection of the cultural world of today and the future and constitutes a multidisciplinary network. The members of the platform are ARTSSS' permanent residents. Through the network, a constant interaction between them is being achieved and a vibrant sense of community is built.
ARTSSS is based in Hamburg, Germany, but the activities of the platform are meant to happen both in an online and a hybrid context. The online regular meetings, events and discussions connect people from different countries, allowing them to be informed about artistic activities and developments happening in every side of the continent. It is a great way to get inspired from different cultures, to dive into different approaches on different creative practices and motivate intercultural interactions in a personal level. Furthermore, ARTSSS aims to organise hybrid events in different cities in collaboration with its members or other organisations and institutions, and engage creatively its featured artists.
Additionally, the democratic and inclusive character of the platform allows its members to communicate directly with the curation team of ARTSSS or the network. Through the platform, everyone would be treated with absolute equality and respect and everyone would have the possibility to share their ideas or concepts in regard to ARTSSS' actions and events.
In rapidly developing societies within the digital era, ARTSSS' aim is to create a strong community where connection, visibility, inspiration and personal communication are of greatest importance.
