Hectic lifestyle calls for shorter solutions to our day-to-day problems. As we aim to maximise productivity within our daily routines, one particular category we can look at is how to improve the homemaking process and better manage household chores. The biggest question and the one most frequently neglected - our aftermeal hygiene.
As a faucet & dishwasher hybrid, our kitchen routine has become more efficient. A major design overhaul has allowed it to command such a compact form factor.

Background
Hectic lifestyle calls for more direct and shorter solutions to our day-to-day problems. As we aim to maximise productivity within our daily routines, we also strive to enjoy as much leisure time we can get. As we get comfortable within our homes, one particular category we can look at is how to better improve the homemaking process and better manage household chores.
The biggest question and the one most frequently neglected - our aftermeal hygiene.
A typical dishwasher found in a kitchen. It’s worth noting that modern dishwashers, although modular and allow different configurations of plates to be arranged, it takes up alot of space within the kitchen, and they proved ineffective in cleaning food that are of stickier nature.
The objective is to design and develop a home cutlery cleaning applicance that upholds the principles of space saving, multifunctionality and the value of water conservation.
The Solution
With a faucet and dishwasher hybrid, our kitchen routine just gotten so much neater and efficient. The major design overhaul has allowed it to command such a compact form factor.
As we are now able to witness how our cutleries are cleaned without worrying about disrupting the entire process. It will be possible to terminate the cycle if any errors are spotted.
Key objectives for sustainability
Supervised Usage of Water
Water Usage. Indicated The amount of water used to indicate can both monitored from both Control Centre or physically from the water level present in the enclosing Water Supply structure. Within the A.I of the Control Centre, the software will scan the plates that are aplce inside the sink and determine the most effective way to get the plates cleaned (heating temperature, amount of water and time needed). This saves water, and our bills too!

Rotary. Form ain’t seen before
Rotating the entire basin will activate between general cleansing and dishwashing mode, dirty dishes can simply be dumped into the dishwashing module and rotated back for the cleaning cycle to begin. As a dishwasher built-in within a kitchen sink, the prospect of space saving appliances in our kitchen just gotten closer to reality.
Mechanical Operation
Modes for repairs and replacing filter cartridges, rotating of dishwasher compartment, opening of Dishwasher Window for occasional cleaning of interior.
Radical Faucet
Acting both as a Digital Faucet for general access to clean water and also as a Control Centre with multi-touch display for the dishwashing process. For general access to clean water, the Digital Faucet offers tacile feedback from user's contact as it dispenses water like a conventional tap.
Ambient Notifications
Subtle notifications to alerts users in regards to issues or events that require user interventions. Once washing is complete, ambient lighting allows discreet and non-intrusive notification.
Unified Control Centre with Capacitive Touch Display
Controls overall cleansing process: to speed up, repeat, abort or pause whenever a change in decision or to add more items for cleansing. It is even possible to schedule an automatic daily cleaning by setting a preset in the Control Centre.
Flexible Cleansing
Custom adjustment of presets allows the cleaning process to suit different users preference (schedule, duration) and different material to be placed within for cleansing.
Built-In Sensor. More Intelligent Than Ever.
Sensors built-in with the sink allows a real-time adjustment of pressured water jets and water temperature to suit the materials of the plates being washed.

Especially in the the era of smart home appliance, it is also necessary to ensure them to be highly accessible to the common consumer. Hence in terms of cost, to use only existing technologies and manufacturing processes.

Integrated Systems
A closed-circuit ecosystem, Digital Faucet, Dishwasher employs water from the same source. The Control Centre governs the process and alerts the users at home when any issue arises
Dynamic Sensors
Use of sensors to detect system faults, leakages and potential failures to create early warning for repairs and replacement.
Multi-faceted Nozzles
Simultaneous high-pressured water bombardment at multiple angles to ensure maximum efficiency in the usage of water for cleansing.
Artificial Intelligence
Employment of A.I for detection of varying types of food stains and kitchenware materials for optimal cleansing techniques.
