SOIR.EE was born as an initiative promoted by STARTUP EUROPE former head Isidro Laso with the goal to celebrate a memorable event in honor of the 60th anniversary of the European Union that took place in Brussels in September 2017. After the successful launch of SOIR.ÉE 1960 Premier Edition, former European Commissioner Elzbieta Bienkowska signed the main artwork during the SME Assembly hosted in Estonia in 2017.
Description of the project
Summary
SOIREE: Is a French word. ‘Soir’ means ‘evening’; an elegant evening party to celebrate the opening of a gallery.
SOIR.EE: Produces non-commercial Crypto-artworks, curates exhibitions, and develops educational projects in collaboration with artists, entrepreneurship communities, and institutions.
MISSION: We aim to change the way people engage with and consume art. We encourage people to discover and engage with European artists and entrepreneurs and reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European cultural space.
VISION: We provide a free futuristic platform for emerging artists and entrepreneurs to showcase their works to the public.
PRODUCTION: Each project exhibition provides an opportunity to present aspects of artistic and entrepreneurial imagination and ingenuity. Key objectives for sustainability
We start from the conviction that art and creativity, understood in a context of sustainability, have great transformative potential. As an expressive resource, it improves communication and raises awareness in an optimistic and empathetic fashion.
The term sustainable art, also called environmental or green art, aims to include aspects related both to ecology and the calls to action regarding actions that degrade our environment, while also supporting social causes.
The worlds of art and business are moving into alignment. These two fields can explore and benefit mutually in myriad ways, thus generating opportunities for artists and entrepreneurs, particularly young talent.
Key Objectives:
- Integrating Business + Art into a single solution, thus adding to the appeal for art collectors and investors.
- Focusing the categories of the exhibition on the sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Simultaneous internationalization for EU Entrepreneurs and Emerging Artists within a new format that is free of charge.
- Securing uptake of SOIR.EE by our host to promote greater social and employment integration of non-conventional art users.
- Facilitating the wider replication and scalability of SOIR.EE at the global scale following a ‘Seed-to-Lead-to-Node' process.
- Assessing in detail the take-up, support, and impact of SOIR.EE in terms of i) innovation, ii) creativity, iii) sustainability, iv) job creation, v) inclusivity, and vi) gender equality.

Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
SOIR.EE features a blend of classic and futuristic artwork, bringing business people and emerging artists closer through a series of experiences from different European countries that cover topics related to the "SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS". These objectives are the driving thematic force behind the exhibition. Each objective is visually identified by two women.
Our Crypto art exhibition is designed to be implemented in any public or private space, such as foundations, associations, universities, embassies, institutions, fairs, hotels, museums, public fora, town halls, airports and galleries, amongst others. We convert any empty space into a meeting place for artists and entrepreneurs.

- Enabling emerging artists to move away from the traditional concept of an art gallery as a solely static exhibition space, in favor of crypto-art and itinerant exhibitions, which grant them access to a more diverse and active audience.
- Showcasing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a cornerstone of the exhibition to contribute to the advancement of the 2030 Agenda.
- Providing a uniform sense and style helps the visitor to feel part of an exclusive environment.
- Offering a brand that is a symbol of elegance and innovation.
- Showing Homogeneous Physical Crypto artwork in a 70 X 50 X 3.5 cm format.
- Offering an Art Easel solution for organizations that do not have a suitable wall to hang artwork
- Implementing equality and positive learning outcomes for new generations to bolster communities through art.
- Providing facilities to the spaces to organize our art exhibition within 48-72 hours in any EU Member State.
- Facilitating the exchange between countries while simultaneously maintaining the same 70X50 cm format.
- Creating a meeting place to inspire the women of Europe for the next nine years.
- Offering multifaceted experiences to visitors from across the EU.
- Engaging innovation and art network all over Europe.
Key objectives for inclusion
We aim to raise awareness of gender equality in art education to empower social and cultural development by bringing together artistic talent and entrepreneurship, the combination of which can lead to benefits for all.
Women are not only the most affected by this pandemic, but they are also the backbone of communities’ recovery. "The limited progress made over the decades in terms of gender equality and women's rights is in danger of being reversed as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic," said the Secretary-General of the United Nations United in April 2020, urging governments to put women and girls at the center of their recovery efforts.
Key Objectives:
- Promoting the role and visibility of women via the visualization of feminine references to encourage newer generations.
- Empowering new women with female powerhouses from various EU countries.
- Offering direct access to collectors and investors.
- Promoting 40 women from each EU country continuously and simultaneously until 2030.
- Generating direct work for women artists through our on-demand reservation system.
- Generating access to investment for women entrepreneurs through physical exposure.
- Generating collective investment into female entrepreneurs and artists across the common bloc.
- Accessing a new audience continent-wide for free.
- Obtaining the certification of authenticity granted by SOIR.EE that gives a tangible value for the investors – collectors.
- Bringing sufficient attention to female role models and leadership examples in the selection and dissemination processes.
- Establishing sustainable practices within the business community to motivate companies to invest in skills and performance development.
- Developing an affirmation approach for a diverse range of achievements and accomplishments that value and inspire companies.
Results in relation to category
The Premier Edition SOIR.EE 1960: A memorable event in honor of the 60th anniversary of the European Union that paid tribute to the diversity of what the European Union has become. Not only were the artists from a variety of countries, but they also represented those countries through a unique perspective and set of experiences that contributed to their identities as Europeans. This experience was easily identified in the types of industries and solution-seeking opportunities that startups brought to the table.
A sample of 12 experiences from different European cities: 12 Emerging Artists (photographers) mixed with 12 innovative projects represented by 12 crypto artworks from LU, PL, SE, FI, ES, IT, EL, DE, FR, CZ, BE, RU, LV and AT, covering topics such as the environment, energy, medicine, education and many more related to SDGs.

How Citizens benefit
The SOIR.EE is a combination of two unlikely communities, both doing their part to advance the progress and identity of the European Union.
The exhibition is free of charge and open to all types of visitors - artists, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, students, and academics who are looking to experience a unique, new concept where creativity, artistic talent, and technology are intertwined.
Any European citizen, regardless of age, origin, or gender, has the right to participate as an emerging artist or innovative entrepreneur, completely free of charge.
Through its unique concept and technology, we allow emerging artists to move away from the traditional concept of the art gallery as a static exhibition space, in favor of a more complete alternative based on crypto art and traveling exhibitions, which offers access to a more diverse and dynamic audience.
We aim to provide the public with access to art to strengthen our creative communities while providing our creatives with skill and career development opportunities. It is a great gallery for artists and business entrepreneurs where they can learn and share experiences in a cultural and relaxed setting. Both groups often face similar challenges from the creation to the materialization of their creative ideas.
Innovative character
EXPLANATORY EXAMPLE OF THE CONCEPT:
NETFLIX: Produces its own original content (audiovisual) and features it on its platform.
SOIR.EE: Produces its own original content (art + entrepreneurship) and displays it physically to the public.
We are the first initiative in the world to invent a disruptive way for startups and emerging artists to gain visibility in this new global and competitive business environment. Our original productions provide storage and take care of the packaging and transport of the art. When the exhibition begins, we ensure that the works are displayed in such a way that they look their best.
CRYPTO ART
Crypto art is an emerging artistic category that challenges while exposing traditional methods of consumption and circulation as well as the buying and selling of art. In general, it is defined as art that takes place on the blockchain. Bitcoin was the first application of blockchain technology; there are many areas where it can be used, including the production and distribution of art. We have seen this recently in the boom of non-fungible tokens (NTFs) that have aimed to move physical art onto the blockchain; here, we are well ahead of the curve, as we create art that is for the blockchain.
Each artwork piece is a hand-assembled, limited edition print with a SOIR.EE ID (authenticity registration). We provide artists and entrepreneurs with a holistic artistic identity, combining the roles of an artist's signature, the certificate of authenticity and the catalog raisonné, as well as new sources of income into a unique and secure artistic identity.
This technology allows us to manage several simultaneous exhibitions in an itinerant and sustainable way, while guaranteeing copyright and the origin of the works all while efficiently managing records in real-time.
SOIR.EE artworks are not for sale; they are only available for exhibition with the goal of increasing the valuation of our protegee
