We are an independent association; registered in Catalunya & Costa Rica, we got together as a free & collaborative network. Summary
Ataec is an associative glocal cyber-network, registered in Catalunya; in which artists, communities, cultures, and projects can activate artistic actions, courses and synergies, co-management on climate change mitigation & resilience projects, and cultural preservation; all this through:
a. The network
b. User profiles and their functionalities
c. Event profiles
d. Course profiles
e. Project profiles
f. The associative, social, and solidarity economic model; in which funds received from the membership payments are invested directly to the member's projects [members can access free solidarity accounts].
g. The philanthropic channel by artist and project. Through the platform, artists, projects, territories, and types of action can receive philanthropic funds donations | investments, with a functionality model in which the donor can choose where to invest.
Key objectives for sustainability
Ataec is an independent association; we got together as a free, collaborative network, and a trans-territorial cooperation channel.
We are artists from different territories in Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
With the objective to support arts, cultural preservation [vulnerable communities, savoir] & create a philanthropic autonomous, solidarity, social, collective & associative economy model; related to ARTS | CLIMATE ACTIONS & CULTURAL PRESERVATION
We look to create a resilient cyberspace for artists to meet, gather, exchange knowledge, collaborate, and generate an autonomous, and collective economy. Ataec launched its cyberspace in 2020; just now we are starting to fundraise in order to collectivized funds.
We are a non-profit organization based on an associative solidarity-social economy model. The information does not go to searching engineers.
Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
The gathering of contemporaneous artists; and the capability to connect with ancestral practices and minority languages, open a whole scale on the values of culture and society.
Ataec is a space- network free of digital marketing controls and algorithms. Our goal is the possibility of the connections of territories and the capacities that merge from those connections on a social level.
Our platform is a space to think together and built our realities, weaving our thoughts and feelings; arts & cultures are on different levels the representations of others including so many factors; such as water and seeds; food sovereignty, collective intelligence, and ancestral knowledge; we support digital creation as a transversal adequated factor of connection but with humanistic values.
Key objectives for inclusion
We co-create and co-act in spaces and territories from a perspective of action and diversity integration; valuing the diversity of narratives, activities, languages, and 'shows' traditionally linked to vulnerable groups and territories; and the supreme importance of actions and links that preserve the cultural and artistic spirit, as knowledge of added value for humanity; taking into account synergies and trans-territorial collateral benefits, sustainable land management, social interactions; and economies of abundance. Our lines of action are directed towards eco-policies of abundance, encounter from the common, love, respect, and all related rights, such as access to culture (tangible and intangible) and territorial autonomy.
The platform is intrinsically inclusive in terms of the values of solidarity with people with diverse abilities and vulnerabilities; for budgetary reasons, we have not been able to develop interactive tools that are an open door and facilitate the use of people in different physical situations. However, we have artists part of vulnerable groups; and part of our action is towards solidarity and coercion around mitigating these vulnerabilities; we have activated the option to register-affiliate with the 'Solidarity Account' which allows access to the cyber-network for free; as an economic model of integration and equal opportunities.
Ataec directly manifests artistic and cultural activity with eco-social and mitigation of the vulnerabilities that come with climate change; we are a network that is created with clear objectives linked to the social and climatic emergency and the importance of biodiversity and interculturality.

Ataec serves as a platform for connection and co-development of climate mitigation projects | Climate Action.
We propose the site as a space for artists, communities, and projects to connect, meet and gather; in order to nourish each other, collaborate, share knowledge, preservation of cultural values, languages, and co-action.
Our most innovative factor is the economic model, so through Ataec donators | investors can choose where to donate; by project, territory, type of action, or directly to the artists; we are a circular associative economy, collective funds coming from the memberships go to the member's actions | projects; and we are now studying, based on collective intelligence, how can we co-create and support movements of reappropriation of technology and 'positive money'.
We are co-managers of the ecosocial project Green Lands, together with the community of Magnimasso and C.A.S.A [Self Sustainable Cities of the Amazonian] we have developed a proposal of land restoration, access to water, pedagogy, and social building in the community of Magnimasso, on the veins of the River Volta, Burkina Faso.
How Citizens benefit
Since 2016 that we seeded Ataec, the project has gone through various stages; in which there has been collective highlighting related to our contemporary needs and realities in programs such as Ecosocial convergence, Germany, e-democracy, Greece, community assemblies Burkina Faso, Climate Justice, Amsterdam, Volunteering, Bulgaria, Barcelona Activa, BCN, and various artistic residencies & performances; with spaces for co-creation and collective reflection.
Today we are around 100 artists. On the 1st of June tow volunteers students of the University of Ottawa, Canada will start an internship related to Curatorship [Climate- Transterritorial Artists].
Innovative character
Ataec proposes today's bigger concern in terms of life; climate mitigation actions.
We look to create a collective space of abundance decentralized economies and co-spaces of creation.
Artistic manifestations and cultural preservation as first inputs.
We brought together Arts, Cultures & Ecosystems as a concept rooted on an independent social media.
