nÀguas em Milreu - is a projet made by the association ACASO that consistes in producing objetcs and other forms off art using reciclyng materials and to promote the roman ruins in Estoi (at Faro municipality). the projet was made with several groups, kindergarden, disabled people, schools and local cultural coletivities. In this way it was possible to work the need to resuse materials, recycling and ambiental politics the transform and gain a new live and to promote the local roman ruis at FARO

Summary
"Aguas em Milreu" is a ambiental and cultural projet that promote several ativities with diferent groups allowing the work of cultural heritage at roman ruins in Estoi. this groups worked in ther places and produces art materials inspired in the fish that the romans places in their houses tha ar today a ruins explored by the govement in a cultural awy. then, this several produts where esposed in the ruins promoting the visit of the local. to perpetuate the projet, an website was created to be a tool for educators and teacher in the future. The ativities had an very good aception form the public (children at a kindergraden, students at school, disabled people that are acompaned by local institutions and their families).
Key objectives for sustainability
the projet allowed the participants to visit a cultural facility (roman ruins) with their Institucions/schools and also their families later on. with the preparations and constrution of the art produts using recycling materials it was and opening pedagogical tool to teach the need of protec the enviromente and to use materials that are usually garbage. to give a new use to some of this home made materials and to use them to promote cultural heritage it was a original way to do it.
Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
the art produts thar are made in this projet, were show in the ruins it self. It was necessary to articulate with the responsables of the cultural center (roman ruins) that these objetcs could be in place without hearting the ancient monuments. therefore, all art produts has tested and made with te ideia that they could be showned in te outside.
Key objectives for inclusion
since the art produts were made by distinguish public it can be seen as an inclusive projet. all the participants could interact in the projet, get along, know each other and ativivate an participate way off promoting theses local roman ruins .
Results in relation to category
all the public were asked to let us know how they feel off participate in this ativities and in this projets. the concep of cultural heritage of the roman were easily acepted by all participants. To discover other forms to use plastic and other ricypling materials, and especialy to resuse them in a creative constrution as very positive, and the educators and teacher could use this interest to explore the concep of recycling, natura preseveration and also historial and cultural heritage of a nation.
How Citizens benefit
in the projet, diferent groups could promote the projet among their pears, and there families. In this way, more people were indirectly involved in the projet. they could experience the visit of the roman ruins and see the art produts made with reciclyng materials in harmony with the place. therefore, they could bring home the concept and also the ideia that they can also be a part of the protection of the envyroment.

Innovative character
the inovation of this projet was the cultural presence in all aspects of the execution, on the ativities and therefore with was a new way to promote historical heritage of a local place. Use the inspiration of the mosaics made by the romans especialy the drwaings of the fish in the wall of the water reservatory used by the romans in can be a new way to inspire youngers to learn historial aspetc of their cultural heritage. introducing a modern digital aspetc, buy creating awebside construted by the children and other participants with was as inovations way to drag yougers to historical and usually considered bored subjects at school.
Learning transferred to other parties
this way of inspiring students and local comunity can easily be replicated in other comunities. producing aan website can also be a easy way to transferring results to other parties.
