As an individual
Ever since I knew about myself I had a love for art and animals. I grew up surrounded by cats, in a beautiful small coastal town of South-East Europe called Herceg Novi. As a little girl, my collective name for all the cats was “Caci” which inspired the title of this collection.
My dear grandmother used to share the same love for the cats as I do. She died due to a late cancer diagnosis in 2019. Before she died, she had told me that she was going to help me one day. After her death, the same year, I came up with an idea about my "CACI" collection.
The intention of my artwork has been to investigate the connection between fashion, art, animals, advertising and worldwide problems in the form of a new mixed media technique/medium. For me, they are not simple artworks. Materials I chose to use made animals I wanted to represent come to life as characters that speak for themselves, something they cannot do in real life. I see it as an effective
message that addresses problems we are facing, by giving voice to animal species. "CACI (BEWARE OF HUMANS!)” collection is here to raise a voice in the name of all us animals who are killed, traded, hunted, abandoned, used as a trophy, for animation, fashion industry, medicine-treated as objects globally. Toys. Toys humans play with. From a viewer’s perspective even they look like toys. They are furry, cute and cuddly. But diving into the story behind that smile is a more serious engagement. It is the contrast between artist’s imagination and the reality of human-caused damage. The question is posed: Do we want to see the harsh reality of such damage or stay in denial? Its results and consequences are evident around us: pollution, climate change, deforestation, and many more. Has our planet Earth become a place where humans are the most dangerous
and deadliest creatures?
That’s why this collection of artworks has been entitled as “BEWARE OF HUMANS!” and sadly this warning resonates with truth, however hard to accept.

As my project is collection of artworks, they can be exhibited worldwide and that's how they can rise awareness and voices/paws for animals in need.

Climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, habitat destruction, animal species extinction, animals rights, education, violence / animal cruelty, disinformation, pandemic, animal sports, cosmetics testing on animals, animals used in research, industrial farming, overconsumption, habitat loss, illegal wildlife trade and many many more...
Local solutions could be:
Adopting animals from the local shelter instead of a buying one, educating people and children about animals and human effects on those, buying local handmade cosmetics and supplies whom are not tested on animals, buying food from a local farmers, helping local shelters and organizations for protecting animals
