Reconnecting with nature

Restoration of the nature ecosystem
Machine for the preservation and restoration of natural ecosystems and biodiversity
The goal is to improve nature so that biodiversity is successfully formed in it and the impact of nearby agricultural work is reduced, for example, improving reclamation ditches to reduce the ingress of mineral fertilizers into the water catchment system. And after achieving these results, create model demonstrations of ecosystem improvement models for wider public use.

As an individual

In Latvia, we have vast areas of forests and fields that are mostly used for economic activities, but there are properties that have been taken over by nature, but in these territories there is no biological diversity or a full-fledged independent ecosystem in nature, because as an example we can take algae that takes over water in ditches and water bodies only because the fertilizers used in agriculture are not absorbed by the plant and they further end up in the ditches or the rotting of plants in unkempt ditches as a result of which the organisms that live in these places decrease. My goal is to improve unused or abandoned territory so that the natural ecosystem can successfully begin to recover in it and coexist with the nearby economic activities, and with my results to educate other interested parties, and show everyone when it is possible to work productively in the field and be nearby beautiful diverse nature that can freely exist next to human activities and be just as beautiful and diverse as untouched.

Nature
Rehabilitation
My main goal is to use the territory that is not wanted or is difficult to use for farming, for nature conservation and maintaining biodiversity. After improving these territories for the development of natural processes, I want to educate others with a practical example of how it can be done more successfully. I believe that with proper education with this information, others could be introduced to how nature can be combined with farming.
I want to show with a practical example how to preserve nature and manage it. And from this extensive experience, create a model that could be used by others who want to improve nature on their property. But the main thing is not only that I create a model, but I strive to attract specialists with whom we will improve the technology that would be used in the improvement of territories over time.
The project's activity is the preservation of biodiversity by cleaning up unmanaged territories or difficult-to-manage territories so that organisms that take over the soil or water do not form there, as a result of which the growth of all other organisms deteriorates or even disappears. At the beginning of the activity, I aimed at arranging unmanaged territories in rural areas, with the help of which I will initially be able to set an example for others how to better arrange them so that nature can be in harmony with the economic activities carried out nearby, but later the goal is to offer others a service to arrange and improve the part of their property that is difficult to manage at affordable costs in order to improve the ecosystem. When it comes to educational practical training, I will be happy to welcome groups of voters and organize meeting times, as long as those interested will have to find their own transportation to get to the facilities I have developed, because I would be happy to provide educational meetings for free, dedicating my time to them, because as a result I will gain greater biodiversity in Latvia that everyone can enjoy, and since I also like to enjoy nature in my free time, I will be very pleased when I can enjoy Latvia's unique nature in many more places, not just in reserves.
It was from my investment that I created a beginning with a model to follow, and later, even if I work alone at first, I will have created a place where nature can freely develop and anyone who wants to will be able to view or enjoy nature, but later, when I attract a larger number of people who will continue to implement the idea, the diversity of nature in Latvia will improve, and I believe that after really good results, these technologies will be able to be used not only within the borders of Latvia.
Since the goal of the project is to clean up areas in order to reduce the proliferation of unfavorable organisms, in my opinion, the main beneficiary is an ecosystem that can successfully restore and develop, because the number of organisms that only form in unfavorable conditions and destroy all other biodiversity will decrease, and since we all begin to strive for the restoration and preservation of nature, everyone could be the beneficiary, but of course, taking into account that I will start with small volumes, the first beneficiaries of these activities will be those living in the region, but as the volume of activities increases, the direct beneficiaries will also increase.
For high results, it is necessary to involve water specialists, soil analysts, plant biodiversity specialists and zoologists in the project, but at the time of drawing up the project, these specialists are not involved, because they are only involved when it is necessary to draw up a specific territory restoration in order to be able to carry out more accurate and successful improvement works, and these specialists should be involved when it is necessary to consolidate the results. Since I myself am studying agriculture and attend additional education related to these sectors, I do not necessarily have to independently involve these specialists, I can periodically renew or update my knowledge in these areas and make territory improvement sketches independently and, if necessary, contact one of the specific specialists to improve the result.
The innovative part of the project is to focus on areas that many do not use or want to ignore. As a result, they begin to develop independently, but since our actions do not go unnoticed, organisms begin to develop independently in nature that take over a large part and limit other organisms. As a result, another plant or animal becomes extinct, and the goal of the project is to achieve a situation where uncontrolled organisms that take over everything else do not multiply in nature from the human footprint.
The approach used in the project is to clean ditches so that water can flow freely through them and to create biological water filter buffers to ensure that the portion of fertilizers used in agriculture that is not absorbed by plants or is unable to be absorbed does not end up in catchment basins or lakes where the fertilizer would promote algae growth, resulting in poor water quality for fish.
This idea is designed with the goal of demonstrating the final result to others and telling them how to achieve it, and each person, evaluating their own capabilities and the specifics of the place, adjusts their idea and implements it. The only thing that does not change is that for the implementation of the idea, it is necessary to periodically attract specialists or educate themselves in order to achieve a more successful result, as well as visit the work done by others and, together with like-minded people, analyze and jointly find solutions that could be feasible for both the owner and bring results in the restoration of nature.
From my perspective, I am currently creating a solution to find a common balance between farming and biodiversity, and this is part of the larger problem that is characterized as the destruction of nature and the destruction of biodiversity.
The goal in this area is not to stop at analyzing natural features and cleaning up territories and maintaining biological processes, and attracting interested parties will be easy, as the achievements of the results will be enough to interest anyone involved.
