The books in the Life series are publications that cultivate love for the planet and respect for all living creatures. They are the first and only ones in Ukraine that raise the topic of ethics of relations between humans and animals in captivity. These ideas unite the world. Thanks to participation in the "Books Without Borders" project, 100,000 copies of Ukrainian books for children were printed in 14 countries of the world, including our "Ecoalphabet".

As a representative of an organisation
Since the beginning of the creation of the publishing house, we have been constantly raising "uncomfortable" but important topics for the sake of educating little "changemakers". The topic of ethics of human relations with animals in captivity is more relevant today than ever and, unfortunately, is still little touched upon on the pages of books by Ukrainian writers. However, it is one of the leading ones in the world of modern children's literature. Ukrainian readers really need such topics from adult contemporary writers. Our goal: to fill this niche, to give the reader the key to their own soul, to teach them to give life. This is evidenced by the name of the project.
"Give life!" are not just words. This is what we do and broadcast everywhere, because we really create books that teach you to appreciate and give life. We dream of founding a new New Year's tradition: on the eve of the New Year holidays, not to cut down, but to plant Christmas trees.
In the book "In Search of Winter Sleep" the seeds of blue spruce are hidden. One tree is home to more than 500 species of living organisms. Planting a single tree is almost the same as building a skyscraper. From the sale of the book, we transfer 20 UAH. to help brown bears living in the rehabilitation center "White Rock". We pack the books in branded paper with the addition of a blooming tag. If you plant it, over time, flowers will smile at the sun: poppy, petunia, purslane.
Our global mission is to promote empathy through book projects. We believe that high-quality and interesting books will encourage people to humane, ethical behavior. We focus on important environmental, educational and modern books and stories of heroic Ukrainian courage. We want to educate a conscious, ethical, humane generation, for whom a book will become food for the brain, an object for inspiration, a tool that will help improve the world.

As part of the "Give Life" project, 1500 books "In Search of Winter Sleep" were donated during the period from 2021 to 2024 to children from vulnerable categories of the population and children of DTEK employees. Also, together with DTEK employees, an audio fairy tale prequel to the story "In Search of Winter Sleep" was created. The audio tale was voiced by the company's employees. It contains the same principles of humanity and ethics that were laid down in the draft. In this way, we involve representatives of big business in creating positive changes in society through education and upbringing.

As part of the Tales of EUkraine project, 5,000 copies of the book "In Search of Winter Sleep" were printed in the form of bilinguals in Germany and Bulgaria and presented to Ukrainian children. Our ideas unite the world. As part of the Tales of EUkraine project, 5,000 copies of the book "In Search of Winter Sleep" were printed in the form of bilinguals in Germany and Bulgaria and presented to Ukrainian children. Our ideas unite the world. Thanks to participation in the "Books without Borders" project, 100,000 copies of Ukrainian books for children were printed in 14 countries of the world, including ours "Ecoalphabet".
Thanks to the "Give Life" project, we help clubfoot animals living in the White Rock bear shelter. From the sale of books "In Search of Winter Sleep", we transfer UAH 20 to the needs of brown bears.

The "Give Life" project brought together education, creativity, ecology, public organizations, business, European communities, and included other international projects to provide children with the opportunity to gain knowledge that will later become the foundation for their change-making actions.

The book "In Search of Winter Sleep" contains a bookmark in the form of the main character - a little brown bear Flower. The heroine has a backpack in which a Christmas tree seed is hidden. On the tab are written recommendations for planting seeds. After completing all the steps, the little reader will be able to grow a real tree on his own!
"Give Life" is the distribution of books that teach young readers important values. By applying translation, the project books can be adapted for any country.
Project books can affect the following challenges: Education and development of critical thinking (development of literacy, stimulation of curiosity). Social equality and inclusion (books about diversity, tolerance, emotional intelligence). Environmental awareness (stories about nature, environmental problems). Mental health (books about emotions, supporting children in difficult situations).
The book "In Search of Winter Sleep" was presented to 1500 children in Ukraine for several years. These are 1500 new trees and many new ideas that were born in the hearts and heads of young readers. 5,000 copies in the form of bilingual books were donated in Bulgaria and Germany. The "Ecoalphabet" was presented to Ukrainian children who found shelter in countries from Ireland to Japan.
