RASINARI A FLOURISHING VILLAGE
Rasinari a flourishing village-sustainable development for a happy community
Our community's environment is the shared space in which we live and we are all responsible. We must like, maintain, repair, improve the conditions to enjoy the well-being in the beauty of the environment. Even if we reach a good and very good level at a given moment, we are in an evolution that requires the continuation of saving the environment and conserving natural resources. For this reason we must continue to work and improve sustainability in a thriving village like Rășinari.

To transform Rășinari commune into an Eco commune. We want to color the locality with
color of the flowers everywhere, with the relaxation of the faces of the citizens, through looks and happy girls to enjoy
beauty of their commune: planting trees and flowers, support regarding the appearance of house facades
In the future, we envisage a network of flourishing villages in the vicinity.
- To understand and raise awareness of the importance of protecting the environment through training and information activities on the dangers of resource depletion, global warming and ignorance of the rules for collecting and selecting household waste through training workshops
-we will beautify the commune through tree and flower planting activities and the creation of green spaces, spaces
blooming, eco spaces for creating your own Eco-community image.
- volunteering for the cleaning of problematic areas from the point of view of waste pollution
- understanding the importance of selective collection
- every house should be a model of sustainable design and preservation
- To build and ensure access to public green spaces, safe, inclusive, easily accessible for
everyone just common without any distinction.
- promoting the expansion of green spaces
- 4 Eco centers will be set up to become the first examples to be followed throughout the commune.
- to promote green transport using the tram, bicycle and horse-drawn carriages for travel for touristic and cultural purposes.
-stimulate volunteer activities to attract funds and to involve young people and seniors in the project activities. the importance of sustainable development in Rășinari commune

The world is constantly changing. We face challenges including environmental degradation and climate change. The community is put in a position to identify solutions at the local level as well. We contribute to the transition to a sustainable way of life for all citizens. Like smaller cities and communities we play important roles in finding ways to contribute to sustainable local development. The population must be aware of the importance of a healthy environment in the short, medium and especially long term. Damage to the environment causes great, irreparable, irreversible damage over time. Training sessions for young people, adults and seniors on the simple things they can do at home that contribute to a healthy environment are important and we will start the project with them
After training the volunteers who become multipliers, it's time to motivate the population to implement. How can we better motivate people to embrace a good idea? Through practical activities that give them the satisfaction of work accomplished but also the beauty of the environment that they themselves shape. The construction of 4 wooden cabins called EcoCentre as a workspace for the actors involved in the different phases of development of the project will be another important and beneficial stage for stimulating the teamwork environment. The cottages will be models of sustainable development. Local woodworking craftsmen will build according to the old models integrating the buildings into the local landscape. We intend to plant trees and beautify houses and official buildings with flowers to become an annual tradition.
Humans leave beautiful marks on Earth but sometimes with less good impact. That's why the world has an increased responsibility to be aware of the importance of our actions for the protection of the environment. We belong to this planet and fulfill our role in the current conditions from the perspective of sustainable development.

People leave beautiful traces on the Earth, but often with a less good impact. That is why our world has a
increased responsibility to raise awareness of the importance of our actions for environmental protection. We are part of
biosphere and we fulfill our role in the current conditions from the perspective of sustainable development.
Another important point we will touch on that will contribute to visible improvement is given by party activities
free time, ensuring well-being and leisure and tourism. We will organize weekly tram rides
along the Dumbrava Forest. In order to create a pleasant environment, shelves for books and magazines will be arranged
promotion of the locality, presentation of the project but also dedicated to the rules for protecting the environment. We will season
walking with traditional music, but also with classical music. At the exit from the forest towards Rășinari, the tram will make a small detour
break to present to the tourists a small picnic with local products, organic products from sheep's cheese to , tochitura , salads
but also the famous cheese pies and traditional doughnuts. Participants can rent bicycles to reach the tourist attractions
local or in turn at center 2 in the Sava Popovici Barciani School garden. Here they will have the opportunity to meet the students
volunteers who will present their experiences related to the selection and collection of waste, the use of certain materials
reusable to create useful objects in the household. They will also hold classes in the wooden cabin on the premises the beautiful green space in the school garden. Eco Center number 3 will be located on the current barbeque space in Stezii Valley. we will create the motivation of the inhabitants to appreciate and take over the old
handicrafts, old construction models, to take over the old local traditions, to experience the local gastronomy
simple but tasty and healthy, at the expense of fast food but also through a healthy life.

The innovative character of an initiative can be highlighted through its approach, methodology, tools, or outcomes that differ from mainstream actions in the same field. When compared to conventional or traditional approaches, an innovative initiative might offer new solutions, leverage cutting-edge technologies, incorporate diverse perspectives, or challenge established paradigms. Here are some ways an initiative can stand out in terms of innovation:The initiative will contribute by the disciplines such as health, environment, technology, education, culture, traditions, gastronomy will create new forms of collaboration. Our initiative will bring together the fields of culture, environment, health, gastronomy, traditions, education and will create that healthy environment for the whole community from well-being to territorial planning. As an innovative initiative in the project is that we involve urban planners, social scientists, public health experts, and economic analysts from the start, ensuring that the solutions created are sustainable, socially equitable, and economically viable. We believe also that an innovative site is also the replicability because we planned a follow up to the project which will involved our neighborhoods villages in order to create a network o eco-villages in our are. for this reason we already started the discussions with those villages representatives to join us and use the results of our project as best practice examples.
The project is based on a sustainable and integrated approach, aiming to improve the living conditions within the community of Rășinari by promoting a clean environment and ecological development.

The initiative has significant potential for transferability and replicability due to its adaptable and scalable components. Key elements could be applied to other places, groups of beneficiaries, and contexts include:
The educational programs designed to raise awareness about environmental sustainability, waste management, and green practices can easily be replicated in other communities. Workshops, seminars, and events could be tailored to fit local needs and could be scaled up or adapted.
Creating green spaces, parks, and community gardens with native plants could be replicated in other towns, cities, or even within urban areas. This model can be adapted to local environmental conditions and community needs, promoting both ecological benefits and improving residents' well-being.
The waste segregation and recycling practices can be transferred to other municipalities or even larger urban settings. By creating accessible waste collection points and offering educational resources on recycling, other communities can adopt similar practices to reduce waste and increase recycling rates.
The collaboration between local authorities, NGOs, and community groups can serve as a model for other regions. The model of working together with educational institutions to train young people in sustainability can also be replicated to build environmental responsibility in future generations.
The use of simple, cost-effective green technologies (e.g., solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, energy-efficient lighting) can be easily adapted and scaled to fit various budget constraints. This makes the initiative replicable across different economic contexts, from small villages to larger urban areas.
The approach for ensuring the long-term success through continuous monitoring and community engagement, can be applied elsewhere. Regular assessments, feedback loops community-based maintenance of green infrastructure could be transferred to other projects to ensure lasting impact
