The Festival intends to highlight the "common sense" of a creative part of the territory of the two National Parks of Monti Sibillini and Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, straddling the Italian regions: Abruzzo, Marche, Lazio, Umbria, in order to let citizens responsibly and creatively regain a sense of belonging to the territories, to protect and valorize them, with the languages of art, culture and sport starting from the wonderful environmental, naturalistic and cultural microcosm

In a disappearing village, we have created a successful eco-settlement that has been in existence for 10 years now. It has a community of neighbors and like-minded people. We are currently the largest straw-bale houses ecovillage in the Baltic States. The community founded an outdoor kindergarten and a school where children from the settlement and the surrounding towns study. The essence of community manifests itself in helping each other in common tasks, exchanging home-made products, fests.
No one stays on the ground. By not being able to enjoy accessible and affordable activities, we design realities for all people, reconnecting with the place where they/we are living, with its rivers and surrounded by the sea. Taking care for water is caring for the planet to which we belong, designing accessible experiences, real sailing in zero emission electric boats, and virtual using virtual reality technology, open up many opportunities to reduce inequalities.
The pedestrian and cycle route between San Fernando and Chiclana, a project that unites two cities through the Bay of Cádiz Natural Park. In a few words: health and shared experience; marsh, easterly wind, sun, salt and estuaries; battles and 1812 Constitution; Sancti Petri channel, Atlantic Ocean, Spartina maritima, Platalea leucorodia and Salicornia; right to landscape, managed territory, sensitive stakeholders, maps, artists, joint synergies; and overall opportunities, past and future.

The theme of the 27th Biennial of Design (BIO 27) was exploring a growing and ambitious movement that takes inspiration from vernacular architecture and design to shape a more resilient and equitable future. Within the several months-long collaboration process they developed projects for the exhibition that tackled possible alternatives for the future.

The beautifully designed integrated tools indicate the best suited reuse services & initiatives in their neighbourhood.
The Palace of Imagination is both a process and a series of multifunctional small structures and collective spaces that were built to tackle the needs of the residents of Emboladoura neighborhood through different participatory strategies. “PI” was able to convert socio-spatial vulnerability into a transforming movement, where each “individual being” and “the collective being” can expand their imaginary, and thus overcome external and self-imposed oppression.
