Luce is a collection of lighting design projects realized with FDM 3D printing. The goal is to give people access to good design, to allow them to self-produce their own lamp using already existing bio-plastic (PLA) in order to make it sustainable.
By analyzing and printing the projects, people will be able to see and understand the design constraints. This gives an educational purpose to the project, because it shows how to use the strengths and constraints of additive manufacturing.

In 1974, a war has irrevocably separated Greeks & Turks in Cyprus. From then, the two communities have lived back to back, separated by an an impassable border. FUTR za JUTR reforms currently established processes of food donations in Slovenia in order to reduce edible food waste and fight hunger efficiently. A combination of an app and a smart food locker streamlines the communication between the stakeholders, makes pickup points more accessible for users and decreases the volunteers’ workload. By introducing a self-service pickup point model food donations do not depend solely on volunteers and can be expanded to other areas outside the cities.

Mezo is an exploratory research on social material practices with cooking waste oil utilisation at its centre. Recently this project turns leftover frying oil from fast food shops into accessible and affordable soap. Local material sourcing is combined with social activities to foster an inclusive circular neighbourhood network.

Ecoccon is a case study on ecocentric creative space design aiming to optimise the experience for creators in comparison to conventional non-environment room. Incorporating local artisan craftsmanship pairing up with scientific research, it will set an example to cultivate multi-disciplinary projects / serendipity in the art and science field.

Circle One produces reusable packaging material for online retailers and optimizes the return process via all deposit machines in supermarkets. The packaging is made from old truck planes. The end consumer can return their packaging in any supermarket in Austria and will get their deposition money back. This is a very valuable incentive and will lead to a high return rate. BEATHOVEN is the result of research into the aesthetic qualities of tactile vibrations and how they can help include otherwise excluded people into the world of music. This innovative concept offers an entirely new way of experiencing music, which invites Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing, as well as fully Hearing, to connect with each other and their cultural heritage through music.

The only way for trainees to practice pediatric surgery is to operate on actual patients. Unfortunately, this exposes them to unnecessary risk; thus, parents and senior surgeons hesitate to let them train. ImPulse offers trainees a high-fidelity simulation training module teaching the various steps of pediatric cardiac surgery from start to finish in a safe environment that is accurate, consistent, and repeatable. Thus, transitioning from opportunity-based training to on-demand training.
