„Farmfluencers" are farmers that practise regenerative and sustainable agriculture. The project aims to establish an inspiring audiovisual storytelling of their work, bridge the gap between farmers and citizens, and encourage both to take responsibility for their land. This growing network of „Farmfluencers“ supports farmers to break unknown ground together. By increasing attention to their work, the project fosters a growing number of community-based agriculture in urban areas.

With Planterial® no tree will ever again be felled for particleboards. This is our promise and our idea which we want to realise. Our particleboards are made out of fast growing biomass from agriculture byproducts and a self developed organic binder which make our products biodegradable, easy to recycle and CO2-negative.

The proposed project is to repurpose an unused military hospital brownfield in Josefov, a city in the Czech Republic, into an Integrative Hub focused on environmental and cultural associations and values. The hub will include a reuse center for waste management, an art workplace for art forms using waste and upcycling, and spaces for educational stays and workshops. The project aims to connect current tourism centers in Josefov and is expected to connect nature and history in a new way.

The symbiotic urban movement tackles two of the largest societal challenges at the moment; the housing crisis and the need for an energy-neutral built environment. The concept aims at renovating the existing housing stock while also densifying with the use of bio-based modular top-up extensions. By applying the concept, the existing building can live on for another lifetime as an energy-neutral building where existing and new residents can live happily together.

Athens, during the four last decades, has been extremely urbanized while changing the environment dramatically. By reclassifying open spaces and networks of urban mobility, this model aims to indicate strategies for prioritized urban interventions based on their emergency toward climate adaptation. The preliminary application of the model will be applied to the metropolitan area of Athens, Greece because of the city’s limited urban green spaces and dysfunctional urban mobility infrastructure.

The built environment is responsible for a large part of the world's emissions and resource consumption, this responsibility is hardly taken. The collective ’Frugal Bauen’ aims to occupy precisely this interface and advocates for local and circular solutions, (re)discovering traditional construction methods while being radically sustainable. This way of thinking is expressed in various works of the collective, whether it is a university course, an urban intervention or a building project.

Can fairies live among the imposing remains of industrial architecture? The project concerns the design of an innovative kindergarten, within a wider scenario of recovery and redevelopment of an industrial lot. The design opportunity is the redevelopment of the former Ponte ceramics factory in Laveno-Mombello, a town on the border between Lombardy and Piedmont on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

Alimentiamo aims to create a gathering space in order to break down cultural barriers among the inhabitants of Turin. Food becomes a universal communication tool capable of generating new jobs for the inhabitants of the large Porta Palazzo market area. The market will have a new face and new functions: redeveloped and better looking during the day, inclusive and functional in the evening, where unsold food will find new life in ethnic dishes.
