BEAUTIFUL FAILURES works on fragility, identifying the two most delicate materials of the celebrated Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, glass and the travertine of the pavement, to revisit this seemingly perfect architecture from its most vulnerable side. BEAUTIFUL FAILURES seeks a more inclusive and sustainable approach to our cultural heritage and material culture through re-use and re-reading, exploring the empathy generated by aesthetic attitudes that develop an affective relationship of care. 

Gamified Cohousing, born out of the research of “Architectural Democracy”, addresses two major problems in cities: loneliness and misuse of natural resources. With our business model of “service co-development” and it’s five step implementation plan we can turn any empty building, together with their local owners, into a thriving resilient cohousing and coworking community, regardless of its location.

The House of Hearts weekly live stream of arts, music and open talks in times of the COVID-19 lockdown portrayed a vast number of European and international artists, musicians, food bloggers, pilots, social entrepreneurs to keep connected within the European dimension. Exchanging informally within the private surroundings of the artists’ own living rooms, kitchens or other private places to deliver a strong sign of hope and reconnection, impulses, inspiration, music and art.

The Holy Mass, celebrated by Pope Francis in Šaštín, was the solemn end of his pastoral visit to Slovakia. The liturgical space for this event was created in the fields near the Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows. The overall urban design of the area and the architecture of the presbytery for the Pontifical Mass were realized according to the winning design from the architectural competition announced by the Bratislava Archdiocese. Parts of the building have been reused or recycled to 100%.

To re-think fashion: an extra/ordinary project is an artistic fashion accessories project exploring tangible sustainable solutions, making a call for greater industry accountability on social change and global climate issues. By collaborating with small engaged european businesses, the project intends to push the boundaries of how the fashion industry operates proposing a new and open framework which intends to avoid the systemic errors from the past and to meet environmental and social goals.

Espacio Open is an emerging cultures accelerator at the intersection between art, technology and social issues. Member of the Fab Lab network with a decade of grassroots activities and bottom-up public-private-people partnerships in the Zorrotzaurre island in Bilbao, Spain, this non-profit has transformed the Artiach old cookie factory into a space that mixes open source technologies, circular economy, experimental young migrant programs with local manufacturing and heritage preservation.

It is an accepted fact in Europe that the construction sector has numerous environmental impacts: consumption of raw materials, energy, water, and waste generation. This label aims to inform about the reduction of these impacts. Products for construction will now be able to have a sustainability value assigned to them, in a transparent and quantified manner. And the consumer is informed of the environmental impact of that product, for an environmentally friendly choice.

DEYI LIVING SPACE is a multidisciplinary place that proposes regenerative design experiences that weave a journey through the Chinese ethnic and humanist tradition, with the aim of co-creating a new dimension of being in spaces, objects and people, in a continuous search of fullness and well-being after observing Nature. We work hand in hand with indigenous communities in China to ensure the preservation of their textile heritage through contemporary design.

The Coaching & Nature project was born with the intention of offering a collective experience with a high transformative content. Thanks to the use of Coaching and Mindfulnss techniques  and tahnks to concrete, simple and replicable tools, participants are guided through an exploratory path that helps them to find full harmony with the natural elements and to get in touch with their deep self, discovering all the creative energy deriving from total connection with Nature.
