The infrastructures linked to the presence of industrial activity and the traces it leaves behind prevail as powerful elements in the landscape, testimonies of our way of life. The presence of these structures and their compositional clarity, conditioned by their functionality, sometimes generate images that are both plastically suggestive and disturbing. The proposal aims to take advantage of the privileged location of an existing infrastructure to develop uses related to its enviroment.

The research presents a multiscalar robotic construction system to automate on-site timber construction. Specifically, it presents the next step in the automation of on-site gluing through the introduction of a robotic clamping device to press timber elements directly in the final location. This system allows for a point-supported timber slab of unlimited dimensions, which opens up more design flexibility in the floor plan and extends the architectural design space of timber buildings.

Melt is a collection of three tables and three chairs, designed to inhabit urban spaces and in particular university spaces.
Starting from our experience as students we decided to design this collection for the common areas on campus, areas that are often neglected and in which, instead, such a furniture of this kind could convey a strong message related to the importance but also the beauty of recycled plastic.

Large Housing Estates, which are present in the whole of Europe, are closed to the future evolution. This ideological concept gives a new tool for designers to improve and open slab-blocks settlements. The simple form makes participation with residents and local governments more efficient - to gain the best solutions. Space shaped this way could reinterpret modernist green cities approach, transforming it into new spatial structures for the 21st century.

“We want to swim in our rivers!” - is our approach to positively transform within the dynamics of complex ecosystems. The awareness of water as a resource of life, as a balance between human and nature, gives this claim of swimming a huge potential for rethinking. By sharing knowledge and creating spaces for discourse, we strive to build a strong network for collective change.

Folia is the immersive reality you need to find contact with nature. It is a 360° experience through which the senses and the power of sharing want to build a relationship of care and respect towards the green dimension that the urban and hectic life have put aside.

Ad-portas is based on the premise of adaptive reuse, recycling and enhancement of abandoned historical buildings in rural contexts. Proposed as a manifesto towards a future that rescues an architecture lost in time, it reflects about a respectful approach with attention to the dialogue between "old" and "new", thus reversing the deterioration cycle of disused buildings. Linking and bringing population closer to nature and its historical context through the daily life of their local traditions.

The connection between socket and prosthetic feet is nowadays achieved by a simple metal tube. However, anatomically, this area corresponds to complex bones (tibia, fibula) that is a major actor, according to the bio-mechanical principle enabling comfortable and dynamic walking. Through bio-inspiration, this project has been developed in order to rethink a more dismountable so adjustable, legible and last but not least affordable tibial prosthetic conception.

The initiative is about reinventing a meeting and interaction place in East Poland that contribute to addressing the needs of territories, communities and individuals that need a particular and urgent attention because of invasion of Ukraine by Russia and violent war.

By combining sustainable development, aesthetics and social inclusion, the space, which is to inspire culture and art and mobilize for Ukrainians infrastructure rebuilt, technology/business cooperation, will be revitalized.

‘We don't want you’ project is about Ukrainian migrant workers facing discrimination in Poland. It is designed by a Ukrainian and Polish student team. We want to raise a discussion to reconsider the importance of migrants from Ukraine and thus show how valuable they are for the Polish society and economy.
