Moraininc who? Is a question answered through the regeneration of four different places along the morainic hills of the region of Veneto. Trough architectonic and landscape analysis technics the projects seek to form a collective image of the territory, linking the geological moraines with the human modification of this land. Themes such as Vineyard’s plantations, enhancing built heritage, regenerating historic public spaces and re shaping ancient roads are explored in this proposal.

Openbike is a manifesto on sustainable urbanism, urban transport, distributed manufacturing, shared knowledge, the community and the responsible use of resources, that materializes in the design of a non-polluting urban transport, the bicycle, that can be manufactured by its own user within the city where it is going to be used, downloading the fabrication files and using fabrication methods available at a local fablab, such as 3d printing and CNC milling.

We transport data instead of materials

BabylonGardens has developed and patented a technology based on the reuse of plastic bottles of different types without discarding any part, for an extremely economical, easy-to-build way to turn massive quantities of plastic bottles into Green Walls, allowing the greening of cities by covering walls on public and private buildings with planted surfaces.

Since the start, we designed the building following the criteria of the circular economy. The whole structure is permanent and immobile, but it can always be dismantled to be replaced, recycled, reused. All this information is gathered in its material passport. With a non-limited architecture, the Gonsi Sócrates building offers multipurpose spaces for rent, complemented by common spaces that interact with each other while at the same time connecting visually and physically with outdoor areas.

Finally, a CO2 neutral industrialized façade with a circular positive impact on cities and unpopulated areas, as a result of years of I+D investment.

Biotic City is an action-research project to transform how the current city is designed and built in a broad, permanent and real way. It is an innovative model of habitat designed through an experimental co-creative process for the social and ecological transformation of the city.

Biotic City is the theoretical framework of Agroplaza, an urban ecological equipment model, based in participatory design processes with local communities and spaces within different European locations.

Since 2013 Zagreb has a successful urban allotment gardens programme. Answering a considerable public interest for therapeutic gardening, the brownfield area of former meat processing plant. The new garden in Sesvete, the easternmost neighborhood in Zagreb, was designed to fit that need, providing accessible and serene space for gardening, relaxation, socializing and inclusion, and following the principles of sustainability.

An equitable balance will increase the territory's resilience to meet energy, health, and climate constraints set to increase in number and intensity in the coming decades. So rather than working on the city's densification, we prefer to develop the notion of Distributed Urbanism. It is an excellent opportunity to rethink the relationship between cities and less densely populated peri-urban or rural areas. The work presented was done by over 150 students.

The Steirereck restaurant is famous for its contemporary gastronomic concepts. Now the institution's sustainable way of life and the agricultural work deeply linked to it are manifested thanks to a hybrid energy supply system in the Austrian Alps. The architectural implementation of the ecological overall concept combines the best possible energy standard with thermal and electrical supply from renewable energy sources, and with indoor and outdoor plant cultures for self-sufficiency.

Today, Coffeefrom is the innovative bio-based material born from recycled coffee grounds and a mixture of biopolymers, 100% produced and designed in Italy. For food industry, coffee grounds constitute a waste product - often sent to landfill, where they produce huge CO 2 emissions, high management and logistics costs.
