Description of the project
Summary
Target Groups:
The project is aimed at both companies and consumers:
B2B: Local shops, artisans, cultural spaces and other initiatives that want to highlight their authenticity as a differential value.
B2C: People interested in enjoying experiences rooted in local culture, traditions and products, promoting responsible and conscious consumption.
Specific Objectives:
Integrate 100 projects within the platform in the first year.
s Get 4,000 organic users in the Valencian Country in the first year.
Develop an authenticity card for consumers in the first year, fostering community and loyalty.
Create a catalogue of commercial proposals for members, improving their visibility.
Achieved Outcomes
The project directly contributes to the recovery and enhancement of the sense of belonging through:
Valorization of local heritage: We identify and promote initiatives that preserve and value traditions, artisanal knowledge and authentic ways of life.
Connection between past and future: We help initiatives evolve without losing their essence, combining cultural heritage with innovative strategies.
Community building: The authenticity card and the platform promote interaction between consumers and creators, fostering sustainable and conscious consumption.
Revitalization of the territory: We facilitate interaction between local actors, promoting collaborations and synergies that strengthen the local economic and cultural ecosystem
Key objectives for sustainability
In addition, the platform promotes conscious and responsible consumption, connecting consumers with projects that respect tradition and local know-how. This allows local culture and customs to be preserved and updated without falling into folklorization or the trivialization of traditional practices. In a globalized world, we are offering a response to the loss of local identity, valuing diversity and encouraging projects to maintain their essence without having to give up innovation and modernity. This balance between evolution and roots ensures that identity remains sustainable over time.
Unlike other initiatives that depend exclusively on subsidies or public aid, Autentik proposes a sustainable economic model based on the commercial offer of services and products. The creation of a seal of quality and authenticity allows the projects that adhere to it to differentiate themselves in the market, making sustainability not just an aspiration, but a viable reality that generates employment and recognition.
We are not only promoting sustainability as an abstract value, but also applying it in a tangible way in business and cultural practice. The platform becomes a model for other initiatives that want to link authenticity with sustainable development, demonstrating that the protection of local heritage can be compatible with a solid economic model.
Key objectives for aesthetics and quality
Authenticity is not just a label, but an expression of human quality. Through a recognizable seal and careful communication, Autentik manages to connect the projects with an audience that values identity and uniqueness. Each project integrated into the platform provides a differentiated experience that reflects cultural and artisanal diversity, thus highlighting the beauty inherent in local traditions.
Genuine knowledge, sounds and flavors are not only heritage elements, but expressions of excellence that can compete with any other market offer. Gastronomy, music, craftsmanship and design, when authentic and rooted in the territory, offer unsurpassed quality. Autentik gives visibility to these proposals so that they can thrive without losing their essence, becoming quality references and examples of a way of living more connected to culture and territory.
The project becomes a model for other initiatives that want to value local identity without giving up innovation and contemporary design. The combination of tradition and modernity, between roots and global projection, makes Autentik a reference in the creation of aesthetic and cultural experiences that transform the way we consume and appreciate our environment.
Key objectives for inclusion
In addition, we promote the creation of community, uniting both producers and consumers who value the uniqueness and human quality behind each project. This interaction strengthens local ties and allows the transmission of knowledge and traditions in an accessible and meaningful way.
The approach of the project is open and receptive to new ideas and people. We encourage diversity in all its forms, giving voice to initiatives that represent different cultural, linguistic and social realities. We design tools and spaces designed for everyone, ensuring that inclusion is a fundamental pillar of our work.
Our value proposition is based on difference and authenticity, offering a real alternative to market homogenization. Instead of imposing a standard model, we celebrate the plurality and richness of each project, demonstrating that inclusion is not only an ethical principle, but also an opportunity for sustainable and enriching growth for the whole of society.
How Citizens benefit
The project has had strong citizen involvement since its inception. We have been in contact with different farmers, artisans and artists, who have expressed their desire to preserve their identity and have positively valued the creation of a seal that recognizes them. This interaction has allowed us to design a platform that responds to their real needs and facilitates their economic and cultural sustainability.
The involvement of civil society is also reflected in the creation of participatory spaces such as festivals, catalogues and awards that reinforce their visibility and encourage their continuity. Through these events, citizens can interact directly with creators, knowing first-hand the value of authentic products and services. This contributes to re-establishing the link between consumers and producers, promoting a fairer and more sustainable economy.
The user community also plays a key role. Through the authenticity card, consumers will be able to actively support the initiatives they adhere to and form part of a network that promotes responsible and conscious consumption. Thus, the project not only benefits the participating businesses, but also generates a positive impact on society in general, reinforcing the sense of belonging and the appreciation of local heritage.
Physical or other transformations
Innovative character
The preservation of identity and tradition is usually associated with projects financed by public funds or subsidies, often without a clear long-term sustainability strategy. AUTENTIK changes this dynamic, promoting an economy based on the value perceived by consumers. Maintaining the local essence and proximity becomes a differentiating feature for which consumers are willing to seek and pay more, creating a self-sufficient and scalable model.
Through our flagship brand, we want to offer a variety of services and products that reinforce our mission and create a tangible impact on the community:
• Festivals that celebrate local culture and encourage the exchange of experiences between creators and audiences.
• Plays based on authentic stories and performed by local artists.
• Fashion with local artists, fusing contemporary design with traditional elements.
• Magazines that give visibility to authentic stories and projects.
• Architecture and design studio that integrates aesthetics and local identity into modern spaces.
• Consulting to help companies and freelancers improve their processes without losing their essence.
• Authentic hospitality venues that offer a gastronomic experience based on local products and traditions.
Conveying the Difference through a Viable Economic Model
One of the most innovative aspects of the project is the way we convey the difference through a sustainable economic approach.
Disciplines/knowledge reflected
This desire for change comes from an intersection of disciplines and fields of knowledge that have shaped the design and implementation of the project:
1. Anthropology and Culture: Understanding identity, traditions and culture has been fundamental to defining the authenticity criteria of our label and to designing strategies that connect with the public in a meaningful way.
2. Business and Marketing: We have a startup approach based on "lean" methodologies in order to validate and sell the proposal before making high investments. Likewise, we have developed a powerful and attractive brand to attract both authentic businesses and consumers.
3. Technology and Digitalization: The online platform and digital tools have been a key element in giving visibility to authentic projects and facilitating the connection between them and consumers.
4. Social Movements and Local Economy: The influence of social movements has helped us understand how to support local initiatives without falling into exclusive discourses, but rather promoting a sustainable and open economic model.
5. Design and User Experience: We have placed special emphasis on the usability and user experience of our platform so that it is accessible, intuitive and attractive.
Methodology used
1. Error tolerance: We believe that error is an essential learning tool to move forward and improve. Our processes are designed to allow constant iterations and correct deviations quickly.
2. Active listening to the protagonists: The real protagonists of the project are the authentic businesses. For this reason, we dedicate time to listening to them, understanding their needs and adapting our offer to their resources and economic capabilities. This is crucial, since authentic projects tend to have reduced scalability.
3. Measurable objectives and results monitoring: We set clear and measurable objectives from day one in order to evaluate progress and adjust strategies based on results. This allows us to have our feet on the ground and ensure that each action we implement brings tangible value.
4. Validation and continuous iteration: We launch minimum viable versions (MVP) to test hypotheses and adjust the business model based on real data. This approach allows us to avoid unnecessary investments and optimize resources efficiently.
This methodology will ensure that the AUTENTIK project is developed in a flexible and adaptive way, offering realistic and effective solutions to enhance authentic businesses and preserve their differentiating value.
How stakeholders are engaged
At the local and regional level, we are working directly with small and medium-sized enterprises, artisans, producers, farmers and professionals from authentic sectors to understand their needs and adapt the project to the reality of each territory. These collaborations have allowed:
• Identify authentic initiatives to be part of the platform.
• Create local events such as fairs, festivals and awards that enhance the visibility of the projects.
• Provide training and consultancy to businesses to improve their competitiveness without losing their essence.
Our goal is to expand our spectrum of influence at the state level and subsequently at the European level, after having verified that regional activity brings real value.
Global challenges
Strengthening the local fabric by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that represent the heart of productive activity in many regions. By providing them with visibility and tools to improve their competitiveness, we ensure that these initiatives can thrive in the face of globalization and the standardization of markets.
Competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises
The current market is dominated by large corporations that often make it difficult for local businesses to survive. Our project offers innovative strategies to help these companies differentiate themselves and reach a wider audience, thus ensuring their long-term viability.
Authenticity is placed at the center as a differential value and cultural roots as a key factor in attracting and retaining consumers. We support initiatives that keep local identity alive and promote its recognition on a national and international scale.
The project also values cultural, linguistic and artistic diversity, providing spaces where these expressions can grow and develop freely. This contributes to preserving the intangible heritage of each community and generating a more plural and respectful society with differences.
The project is of course aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, especially:
SDG 8 (Decent work and economic growth): Boost the local economy and support initiatives that generate quality employment.
SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): We are committed to urban and rural development models that respect identity and cultural heritage.
SDG 12 (Responsible Production and Consumption): We promote consumption practices that value sustainability and proximity, avoiding the negative impact of mass markets.
SDG 17 (Alliances to achieve the goals): We plan to work with public and private entities to enhance our impact and create lasting collaboration networks
Learning transferred to other parties
1. Methodology:
The collaborative design approach involving local actors can be replicated elsewhere. The participation of entrepreneurs and community leaders ensures that the platform meets local needs, fostering ownership and commitment. This methodology adapts to various cultural and economic contexts, promoting local economic development.
2. Technology:
The scalable technology behind AUTENTIK, including the certification and marketplace system, can be customized for different regions. Adapting the platform to local languages and payment systems ensures seamless integration, improving accessibility and transparency.
3. Certification process:
Certification criteria can be adapted to reflect unique local characteristics, validating authentic businesses and building consumer trust. This process is transferable to various sectors, such as agriculture or tourism, depending on regional strengths.
4. Marketing Strategies:
Effective marketing and promotion strategies, including local campaigns and social media outreach, can be adapted to different cultural contexts. The use of local communication channels maximizes impact, attracting both residents and tourists.
5. Learnings and best practices:
Sharing ideas and best practices from implementing Autèntik helps other regions avoid common challenges. Knowledge exchange through networks accelerates the success of similar initiatives, fostering collaborative local development.
6. Community Engagement:
Community engagement and capacity-building activities empower local populations to effectively participate in the platform. Training programs and stakeholder engagement ensure widespread benefits, adaptable to diverse socio-economic contexts.
Next steps
The first step for the development and implementation of the project in the year following the application is to get at least 20 projects to hire our services. These services include visibility through our social networks, inclusion in an interactive map where users can discover authentic proposals, and physical certification that guarantees their authenticity. This initial process will not only serve to generate revenue and consolidate our business model, but will also allow us to refine and adjust our value proposition, knowing firsthand the pain points and benefits that we offer to our customers.

In parallel, we will focus on growing our community of users interested in authenticity. To do this, we will deploy a communication strategy based on social networks and the capture of emails through our website. The goal is to reach around 500 contacts, which will allow us to start the B2C part of the project, where we will offer authentic experiences and products directly to consumers. This organized growth will help us better understand the needs of our audience and adapt our offer strategically.

With a consolidated base of interested customers and users, the next step will be the definitive implementation of our visual identity, which will be designed by professionals in order to guarantee an attractive and recognizable image. This phase will be key to reinforcing the credibility of the project and facilitating its expansion into new markets.

Before the end of the year, we will seek to establish strategic collaborations with recognized figures and local artists who have an impact on our sector. These alliances will help us expand our audience, consolidate ourselves as a benchmark brand for authenticity and give greater visibility to the initiatives that are part of our label. In this way, we will achieve greater impact in the market and a base of loyal customers who will bet on our business model in the long term.
