Innovative character

- Uses creativity as a primary tool for mental health, rather than secondary support.
- Combines professional psychological insights with artistic expertise, making well-being solutions engaging and transformative.
- Scales globally as a digital solution, breaking geographic and economic barriers.

Disciplines/knowledge reflected

Maramora integrates multiple disciplines to create a holistic, science-backed approach to well-being through art. Our project brings together psychology, fine arts, digital technology, and education, ensuring that creativity is not just a form of self-expression but also a tool for mental resilience and community building.

- The interaction between psychologists and artists ensures that creative practices are not just expressive but therapeutic and effective for emotional resilience.
- The tech and design team ensures that well-being solutions are not only accessible in physical workshops but also scalable via digital tools.
- Collaboration with educators and community leaders helps implement Maramora’s approach in diverse settings—from workplaces to refugee support programs.

Methodology used

Research-Based: Developed in collaboration with psychologists and artists. Each practice developed by art practitioners (writers, dancers, visual artists, musicians) and adapt by psychologists to everyday life and work with emotions.
Experiential Learning: Users learn through creative exercises, rather than passive content. After practicing with app users admit improvement in their emotional states (88% according our research group).
Blended Approach: Combines digital and in-person experiences for maximum impact.

How stakeholders are engaged

Local-level: Works with creative hubs and cultural organizations.
National-level: Partnering with mental health organizations and educational institutions.
EU-level: Expanding partnerships to corporate well-being programs and international art networks.

Maramora addresses:
The global mental health crisis by offering an accessible, scalable solution.
Social isolation through community-driven, creative programs.
